I expect this to be a great game, however, I will side with the better coach in this one. I love what Jay Wright is doing at Nova but I think Coach K will have a defense tonight that will stifle the Villanova guards.
Purdue +6.5
Love the way these Boilermakers are playing right now. I am NOT making this pick thinking that UConn will be distracted by these allegations. I think Purdue will play great defense and turn this into a slower game. As a result, Purdue keeps this close right down to the wire.
Pitt -6.5
This team hasn't shown their best thus far but I think they flat out get it done tonight against Xavier. Too much size and experience for the Musketeers to handle as Pitt will cruise to a double-digit victory.
Memphis -4
This is my pick to win the whole tournament. After the scare against CS-Northridge they blew out an overrated Maryland team. Tonight, I believe the Big 12 Champs have their hands full with these Memphis Tigers. Missouri may not have even won their game against Marquette were it not for the in-bounds blunder (survive and advance, right?). I think Memphis will provide too much length and athleticism.
