Tenn -11.5 Vs Oak....discussion...

with Oaklands performance against Michigan St. the other night i believe alot of people will jump on them getting the 11.5...and i think that's where the books want you to go....keep in mind Mich St. is a bit overated this yr and are not that good...if anything Tenn is a better team and they have proven that....i've seen a post on here from an espn insider article stating that "Oakland could be giant killers?" lol....

this is telling me Tenn wins big here....waiting closer till game time tho....gl

Tenn will not win big here at all this will be a close game with Oakland losing by 4-7 pts

they have also covered against purdue and illinois along with michigan state  and tennessee is coming off a big road win at  pitt, not usually a good spot for a blowout.

oakland v mich st was not even a lined game...what makes u think this will be close at all? cause oakland had their perfomance of the year?

Theirs a reason Oakland covered (ATS) against Purdue, Illinois, and Mich. State.  They are pretty damn good. Now I am not saying bet Oakland just yet.

I have seen it over and over again where Tennesee remains to be a poor DD favorite.  I watch the Volunteers play great against Pitt., but they still scare me. 

Oakland is coming off a disappointing 1 point loss, it may be tough to get your head in the game.  If they shot slightly better Free throws - the win.   ???

Oakland sports a great big man in Keith Benson that can score on the low block hit free throws and rebound and they have an array of guards that can hit the 3. I just see them keeping things close but good luck on whatever side you choose

LJ is right Keith Benson is GOOD every night.

Tennesee trends as DD favorite:

    ^^ badlands i must of been looking at another game thnx for pointing that out....there is alot of hype around this team after that mich st performance...say they would of lost by what they were supposed to 20+....would they be getting 11 here or 15-20????

    Personally I think this line is begging for a play on Oakland. I've learned though that when it seems too obvious most the time its the wrong play. Personally I teased this with L'ville but I think 11 is about right on the spread.

    I would take the 11.5......but the U152 is the better play here....

    Tenn off huge win + Oak off huge chance for upset= flat city

    it wasnt just michigan state...

    they were getting 16 against purdue and lost by 15 and were getting 14 against illinois and lost by 11 so they have held their own in those 3 games. im playing them mostly because they are obviously a decent team and i think its a bad spot for tenny coming off a big win on the road over the #3 team in the country. either way gl

    i don't think tenn is that play down type team this yr tho...they have/will play to overcome all the bad publicity there getting....imo anyways.

    EASYIEST PICK OF THE DAY OAKLAND HAS BEEN HOT WHAT YOU GUYS HAVE TO RELIZE IS THAT TENN AND OAKLAND ARE THE SAME ATS THIS YEAR THATS WAY THE LINE IS 11.5

    Line seems a bit cheaper than it should be...I am an Oakland fan but they are getting a lot of respect here. As good as they are, they don't have a win over a top 150 team, were beaten by WV by 24 and needed oT to beat Austin Peay on a neutral court. This line should be -14.
