...Wisky -6.5 @ Indiana ??? Indiana lost 6 straight (1-5 ATS) Wisky won 3 in a row (killed NW last time out) Wisky 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS last 7 vs Indiana. Wisky at least 9.5 pts fav vs Ind last 5 meetings, only 6.5 today? Wisky 4.5 fav at Mich 10 days ago and only 6.5 pts fave today?
So, what's the deal with this game ? Wisky goes to Ohio State Sunday. The last time they were looking ahead to Ohio State they needed OT to beat Iowa on the road. With Purdue playing at Iowa in their final game of the season (almost a sure win for Purdue), Wisky probably has NOTHING TO PLAY FOR tonight against Indiana. They are pretty much locked in as #3 seed for the playoffs. Even if Purdue loses at Iowa, Wisconsin would stil need to win both at Indiana and at Ohio State (and Ohio State is 19-0 at home this season) to have the same record as Purdue. Wisky already clinched the first round bye. I will say it one more time: this is a MEANINGLESS GAME for Wisconsin who's already 3-4 in road conference games this season needing OT to win at Iowa and a three pointer at the buzzer to win at Michigan.
MY PLAY IS: INDIANA +7 -117 (buy half pt)

Indy is BAD. "look ahead" is overrated. I think wisc. beats them by DD. Wisc is a very good team..they need to win to keep with the buckeyes..with that being said..this games wont be close.

Indiana is brutal. I was at the game when they played at the Kohl Center...and the Hoosiers shot the lights out and still lost by 7 I believe. I agree this looks like a trap but I think Bo will get across the importance of winning on the road now that we're approaching tournament time.
Have you seen Indiana this year? They looks like ahigh school team out there

I wouldn't call any of those two 'a trap play'...just reg plays...
S.Carolina +4.5
Tennessee is so inconsistent this season that they can beat anyone and lose to anyone. They already won vs Pittsburgh, Villanova and twice vs Vandy, but lost to Charlotte, Oakland and College of Charleston. I understand people who say that 'look ahead' angle is overrated or even unexistant but the fact is, Tennessee is awfull against the spread in recent years before playing vs Kentucky in regular season. Take a look at their ATS margins in most recent games before playing Kentucky: -10 ATS this season vs Alabama (trailed at home by 11 at halftime), -11 ATS last season against Florida, -16 ATS last season against Vanderbilt, -21.5 ATS the year before against Ole Miss...That's 0-4 ATS in last 4 losing by almost 15 ppg against spread !
Seton Hall +3
I wouldn't call this line a trap, but the fact is, St.Johns is getting a lot of love by everyone. The bettors are on their bandwagon for some time now, they are media darlings ever since they won against Duke, and I am affraid that they are not going to be focused tonight after winning at Nova fir the first time in 8 years. The odds are against them as their last win at SH came a long time ago.

There are a couple things a mature, well coached team like Wiscy learns over the course of a season. One thing I believe they learned from was the near defeat @ Iowa earlier this year when Ohio State was on deck. Guess who's on deck Saturday for Bucky ?
That won't happen again.
Second, I believe they (Wisconsin) will NOT take IU lightly twice. This Indiana team played them tough 1st go around at the Kohl Center and I believe they learned from that. That game was too close for comfort according to Bo Ryan.
That won't happen again.
So the two intangibles that everyone seems to be hanging their hat on (that would give IU a chance in this game) will be negated or corrected from previous experience. And if it comes down to JUST pure X's and O's, this game will be a blow!
