Just did a big write up about these 3 games, but pushed send and it got deleted. Boo.
But I am thinking Minnesota -2.5, South Dakota State +3.5 and Santa Clara -1.5.
I don't know if Michigan's performance against Ohio State soured me on them, I really don't like the idea of betting against them, but I think Minny should win at home. Minny has the athletes, home court, tough D and Mbakwe rounding into form...
South Dakota State is the best of the Summit in my opinion, Western Illinois has won 11 straight, but they are a paper tiger. What is their best win? The Oakland win? South Dakota State is the better team and should in outright.
Santa Clara beat SF by 5 at home. Looking at that box score SF outshot Santa Clara from the field (47-39%, and from 3). Foster went 5-17. Santa Clara was still up 11 at half and coasted to a 5 point victory. Santa Clara won the rebounding battle 42-30, that should travel to SF. Santa Clara has lost to the class of the WCC (outside of the L-M loss which is troubling), and played a tough schedule. Look for Santa Clara to start getting back on track, beginning tonight...
