Updated record: 5-4 for a net loss of some peanuts (.15)

One Anthony Ireland three with under 30 seconds really cost us and was the difference in us having a +6u day and the modest +1.7u day we ended up having between college baskets and the NBA thanks to the ATL Hawks... It's just how it goes tho guys, can't complain about the tough ones to swallow becasue over the course of a long season, we're gonna get fortunate in some games just as well. This NCAA season is a grind, and just look to slowly gain and let the highs be higher than the lows are low... Short card tomorrow, and only one game peaks my interest.. Digging into Creighton/Nebraska. Hope to have a play tomorrow...

Only one play for me today, and really like this spot for creighton. While Nebraska is off and running early with a solid 6-1 record, tonight is a BIG step up in competition for the Huskers. Ubel, Talley, and Gallegos have provided a nice spark and have the team playing well but tonight is a whole different animal. Nebraska does not go too deep off the bench and will heavily rely on their starters while Creighton has an abundance of bodies to throw at them. In my opinion this Nebraska team has earned themselves a nice start to the season but the quality of competition has been subpar to put it nicely. While Nebraska had a nice win against Valpo earlier in the season, I'm not ready to consider wins against USC at home and Wake Forest on the road quality wins as these two teams are in the bottom third of the country. My one major concern for Creighton is that this is their first true road game, which always is cause for some concern, but remember, this is Nebraska where they are traveling to and home court there is not the same as many of the power house teams in the nation. This is a watered down homecourt advantage, and don't look for it to play a large factor. Creighton leads the nation in field goal percentage and can sure score the basketball. Great team play and chemistry here. I have made this line double digits and think we are getting a steal here only laying -7. I am going ahead and making this my only play in college baskets tonight... Good luck everybody!
