Missouri vs Memphis!
Here we go this game will be everything that weve hoped for and more! The mizzou press against a memphis team that also plays great D and forces TOs. The missouri 40 minutes of hell willl force turnovers out of freshman guard Tyreke Evans, but the key to this game will be the play of Robert Dozier. Dozier has averaged 7.3ppg in the memphis losses to Xavier Gtown and Syracuse. Dozier is the key to this game, and the inside presence of Demare Carroll and Leo Lyons will stop him from getting into the flow of the memphis offense. In the first round win over CSN, Dozier was stopped to just 6 points and 8 reb as memphis barely squeaked by. We can talk about the press all we want but Robert Dozier will determine wheather or not the Memphis tigers have a chance in this game. Even with Dozier at his best, i still believe this game will come down to the end, which is the reason why im taking Mizzou. Although they dont have much experience in this situation, Missouri starts 3 seniors and 2 juniors, but big man Keith Ramsey coming off the bench as a junior. The 3s of swingman Matt Lawrence will help open up the inside for Carroll and Lyons to do their work. Freshman guards Kim English and Marcus Denmon provide a spark off the bench, and range from behind the arch (English-38% 3pt, Denmon- 30.3%).
