Tourney selection headscratchers

#1 So The Big Ten tournament winner is a five seed and Michigan State who loses to Wisconsin in the semis gets a two seed.

I think they looks at the season overall not just one tournament. 

Also MSU beat Mich twice in the reg season.

MSU is easily a better team than Michigan overall this season, and that’s what matters.  The NCAA selection committee looks at the entire body of work…if you don’t believe it, look at Auburn who lost 3 out of their last 4 games but are a #1

How did these CBS talking heads manage to be so aloof to not criticize Louisville being in the Lexington pod, potentially meeting Auburn???

Unc and Texas getting in is joke, Texas has to have the record for most losses to get in 

Joe Lunardi blew his picks. He missed 4 teams and he usually gets them all correct. I wonder if Bubba Cunningham had anything to do with UNC getting in. 

They might make some sort of Cinderella run, UNC getting in is a joke.  They had ONE quad-1 win this year (1-12) overall and  even had a quad-3 LOSS at home this year

 And as a Badger fan, Michigan won 2-0 (and finished higher in the standings regular season) and gets a #5 vs. Wisky #3, so proves that the B1G championship once again 30 minutes before the reveal means nothing.

 It sure seems that way. You know Crowl,  for me has to be the biggest disappointment for the badgers. Very soft player who as a senior did not measure up this year like I thought he would.

It’s a shame Gilbert will be out for Iowa St. They may still spank Mich St out of the tourney with a healthy Lipsey, that is if sparty even makes it that far. I hope Marquette gives them a run for there money. 
Didn’t hurt that North Carolina AD is head of the selection committee. It’s a joke, but they will bring in added revenue for the tourney so guess that’s a big reason why they did it.

I think Tennessee in the way they lost to  Florida in the sec championship, will be a key in helping them advance to the final four this year.

 That's so weak, name recognition gets the viewership up and we all know it's politics at the end of the day. But totally agree.....

 Yeah but they played in arguable the best conference in college baskets, ever.
