I like Duke as well, but only if Allen plays.

FSU is awful on the road. They're a team that seems to get rattled very easily. Not to mention, their FT shooting on the road is horrendous! Compare stats between the two games vs ND and you'll see what I mean.

I don&#x27;t think Duke really cares about the rest of season. Starting with the loss to Syracuse. They are pretty much destined for a 4 or 5 seed. The more ACC teams in the tourney the more money for the conference to be divided up by the schools. So any bubble teams in your conference I see teams that are already in not trying to win unless they want to elevate their seeding. Which Duke doesn&#x27;t....plus resting Allen for the big show.

It doesn&#x27;t matter to me if Jefferson and Allen isn&#x27;t playing, my guess is that at least one of those guys will suit up tonight. Coach K after losing 2 straight well have his boyz ready for this match up. They can&#x27;t afford to lose this match up and likely lose vs UNC this week and go 0-4 in the ACC. . He will have them ready!

Idk.. Allen is good, but he doesn&#x27;t make this Duke team. The coach does and knowing that coach K is in charge I wouldn&#x27;t worry. Here is a some stat in case y&#x27;all want to know more about these two teams..Florida State vs. DukePlay: Duke -6&#xBD;Bets on home teams as a favorite or pick &#x27;em (Duke) off two or more consecutive upset losses as a road favorite, in February games are 47-14 ATS since 1997. Look for a big effort tonight from the Blue Devils on Senior Night. They are 14-1 at home this season. Florida State is just 3-5 in true road games with all 5 losses coming by 10 points or more.

More stats or news..Game time decisions will be made for C Jefferson and G Allen in today&#x27;s game. This will be last game for Jefferson and Jones but also for Kinnard and Allen if they choose to leave early. After this game a eager and angry UNC team looks to avenge earlier loss to Duke. So if Duke losses they could be staring at a 4 game skid. Jefferson looked better in practice then Allen but I see both of them suiting up. Florida State is a different team on the road with all losses average by 10pts.

There&#x27;s a lot going here with this game. A double bye is at stake for both teams in the ACC tourney, which could be valuable time off to rest those players with injuries. It&#x27;s also senior night for Duke since their last game of the regular season is at UNC. There&#x27;s a real chance that if Duke sits Allen and Jefferson then they could lose tonight and at UNC to end the regular season and finish 10-8 in the ACC. They&#x27;d have a tough road in that tournament and let&#x27;s just say they go one and done, how do you possibly make them any better than a 6 seed for March Madness???
