UConn still missing their top 2 players but have great depth. (Martin could be a game time decision, he practiced Friday) Without them they were still competing and only lost by 3 away at WV and the game could’ve easily swayed their way with a few lucky bounces of the ball. Also UCONN shot a measly 3-21 from 3 point range which I don’t expect them to do today. The Bonnie’s are also dealing with injuries. Lofton, starting point guard is also a game time decision. He has missed the last two games. With Bonnie’s on a win streak and Uconn coming off a loss I believe this game has more value to Uconn. It’s their last chance to win a non conference game against a worthy opponent before going into their Big East schedule. This is going to be a tough game. I love watching Uconn because they compete every game and are a very resilient team. I think they will want this game more and Hurley will have them ready.
