Huskies have a ranked 9 prospect for the first time since 2011 Liam McNeeley 6’7 forward who already looks comfortable in Dan Hurleys system will look to showcase against Memphis.
bottom line for me.
there is a difference between coaches who actually draw X’s and O’s And teams that rely on talent to win games.
There is a reason the laker sought out after Dan Hurley with a multi million deal before he turned it down. The guy is a psycho and he will not get outcoached by a has been former nba player that has had loads to talent in the program to get deep in the tournament. It’s really hard to trust penny in this scenario where last season he struggled to get his players to listen to him and win games.. Dan Hurley is a proven champion and coaching genius who isn’t looking to slow down anytime soon.

GL with your play, I do lean Memphis and the pts game 1… and if I wager it would take some brass stones. Ha! Nice grab, can see -9.5 by tip off. Enjoy the games, feel free to post in my Invitational Thread…im would like to provide a centralized spot for ideas the next 3 days… Again GL with UConn
Hurley is in a class of his own

Like the play. I also think Hurley plays to beat the spread. UConn missed the cover last game winning by 35 with a 37 pt spread and he said in the postgame how it was a sloppy game and they needed to play better. He doesn’t like to lay off the gas, my kind of coach

I couldn’t disagree more. This is not the same UConn team. Memphis is an older and more gritty team. I could see UConn losing outright!
are you kidding me? Have you seen the transfers and the freshman prospect they brought in? Dan Hurley made sure he would have another shot at contending for another championship. Tarris reed jr and mahaney will fit into this UConn’s system very nicely.
also look at the meltdowns Memphis had last season in the middle of their stretch. Players would point fingers at each other and just give up when teams would toughen up on them. Penny would lose control of his team and players would just kind of shrug their shoulders.

I’m not kidding you. Learn basketball my boy. I played D1 I have a different perspective. UConn hasn’t played anyone. Clearly not the same team. Memphis This one is Dolph!
