Not true. Buying points is there for a reason. I always try to get lower than the actual spread. VCU should win by 8 I just like insurance. Books know guys hate buying points but even as a dog its insurance to buy up so your theory isn&#x27;t fully accurate. GL

&#xD;&#xA;I always buy points no matter what my friend. VCU will win by 8 but its just my insurance. If I was taking the Dog I would buy up. 1 point is only -130. I would take -130 in MLB so I will take it in anything else if it helps give me a extra cushion. AND FYI if $30 extra is a lot to you then you shouldn&#x27;t be betting my friend. GL
