Only 6.5? Doesnt seem like an overreaction yet. I mean was Kansas +5/5.5 and they were a #1 seed. Seems natural that Michigan should be at least 6.5 to 7 pt dogs here as the #3.

I do expect the bettors to push the line up in the coming days though due to the domination we saw tonight. I'll be shocked if this line dropped or stayed at the current number...

Overreaction?? This team is 31-1 this year with a full roster. Their avg margin of victory is 18 ppg.  Xavier twice, Gonzaga, Texas Tech, Kansas, WVU, none of the games was closer than 12 pts.  Overreaction? Bet your mortgage on this one.  Michigan isnt going to "stop" Nova&#x27;s offense. It surely isnt going to be able to score enough either. Total mismatch.

But why only 6.5 then? You would think linesmakers would anticipate overreaction and put this line at 9 but they open on such a generous line. Seems too easy taking Nova even tho they dominated all season.

i think that&#x27;s a perfect opening line. not too high and not too low. Just think of it this way, if opening line for michigan is &#x2B;9, bet lots will pound and them and bookie won&#x27;t be able to find the balance.But now is only 6.5, some will think is too fishy and that&#x27;s perfect for the bookie to create confusion.

Not to mention if it wasn&#x2019;t for the refs calling ticky tacky fouls on booth and couple other nova players that game last night was a 30 pt beatdown. Nova attempted 1st foul shot of gm with 8:48 left in game, Kansas had already attempted 16 fts by then.

Respectfully, I see you post all over Covers. But.....If you cannot recognize a GIFT LINE when its presented on either side, then, stop reading other peoples posts and lay off of this game. Its either you love this line for the Cats or the other side. Any indecision means play a recreational bet.Vegas posted this line since they thought a lot of Michigan money would pore in on Michigan if they set it at just under double digits. The line will cliimb and then you will see a lot of Michigan money as the game gets nearer. Any Wolverine bettor is usually a rabid supporter and if they bet like they bet NCAAF, they bet in big chunks.
