1.  Other than Covers, what other websites are peoples "go to"?

2.  Also, is it worth it to pay for premium membership to these websites?  Or is the free information provided good enough?

JUst keep in mind, they guys dont tell yuo who will win the game. the one thing that power rankings and stats do not tell is "the spot"-what factors outside stats that will determine the outcome. They only give you data to measure the potential with all factors being equal- you need to figure out if the spot is right for a side.

I tracked sagarin in 2019. His stats chose the right side against the spread about 50.8%..not meaningful enough to win 

Yes, I understand.  Nothing is foolproof.  I've used Kenpom in the past, and there used to be a formula, but can't remember what it was.  But yeah, if it was that easy, we would all be rich.

Sagarin is good for getting an idea of what the opening line should be and it’s usually pretty damn close

It was Ryno with the Kenpom system and I believe it started a week before conference tournaments and the picks were all dogs. Don’t remember the exact details of how it worked but I think it was mainly mid major and lesser conferences 

Greg Peterson with VSIN puts out his own spreads on every cbb game daily based on his power rankings and other factors etc and is very good.

You'd need a subscription to VSIN but they are excellent with plenty of resources for all the major sports.

Good point-i nver tracked it to opening lines. only final-i guess public moves line based on spot
