6-1-1 yesterday
UTEP +15
Horrible spot for Louisville, coming off the loss to Duke and having the to go to Rupp on Saturday spells disaster. Now they have lost 3 straight, and know they need a win, but much like Butler last night, I think they come out flat and winning by 16+, without two starters, seems like a tall task.
Green Bay +5.5
Rivalry game, home dog, who is getting their best player back from a one game suspension. Milwaukee swept the Phoenix last year, so a little extra motivation to get back on the right side of this interstate battle. ML is for sure live here.
IU Indy +14.5
Another rivalry game, so another dog for me, but this time on the road. Last year in FW, the Jags hung around and lost by 6, and I see no reason they can't do the same tonight. They rely on the 3pt shot, almost entirely, so they will need to make some shots, but FW should get everything the Jaguars have tonight, making 15 a tough number to get to.
Fairleigh Dickinson +28.5
Spot play. Nova coming off the beatdown of Philly and Big 5 rival Temple, and kick off Big East play next. FDU has covered this number @ Creighton and @ Nebraska already this year.
Bryant +21
Bryant is a darling of mine and they have the athletes to stay within this number. I've watched them play 3 times already this year, and this game will NOT be a cake walk for the Johnnies. Add in the conference opener is next, and it's certainly a look ahead spot. I also think that if the Johnnies have the opportunity to completely blow Bryant out, Patino shows some grace to Martelli Jr, out of respect for his father.
Nevada -11.5
This young Jacks team has only played one road game thus far, and it was a loss at Montana. But this away game is gonna be on a different level, as far as noise and energy go. This is one of the toughest places to play in the country and with the youth of SDSU and the experience of Nevada, this one probably gets kinda ugly. Reno also is in the altitude which is a tough adjustment for teams that don't play in the mountains.
