Jfen what do you think about Butler vs La salle. Obviously a letdown spot for the bulldogs, and w/o their leading scorer. La salle is a pretty good team but they homecourt is nothing too fearsome, there should be about 3k in attendance today. Butler has the better frontcourt and the coaching adv with Stevens.

I debated grabbing the subway over to Gola tonight but it's not worth braving the weather + high probability of getting stabbed by a local.
Anyway, obviously this is an utterly horrific spot for Butler coming off of the Gonzaga win and making its second trip to Philly in two weeks. La Salle has an abundance of backcourt talent, especially with Garland now fully integrated into the lineup. Duren is one of the best PG's in the league and Galloway can carry the team on any given night. The big key is in the frontcourt. Wright and Zack are still relatively young and prone to getting in foul trouble. When this happens, Giannini has to play four guards (Petersen is like a hybrid 2/3) and they have difficulty stopping people inside. No Clarke is big help. He lit SJU up for like 27 in the game on Hawk Hill earlier this month, including a couple absurd dagger threes.
As far as the environment, Gola is a cramped, decrepit, smelly shi*hole but La Salle plays really well in that building. The "fans" are frontrunners and usually don't show up for games, but I know for certain the place will be jammed tonight, and it will be quite loud.
Definitely my most-anticipated game of the night. Gun to head, I'd go La Salle first half.
