6-4 yesterday. Tough to lose the Baylor and Butler games. Such is gambling.
Samford/Furman Under 150.5
Samfords defense has really turned up the heat since conference play started. One team has gotten to 70+, and while their defense has been great, the offense has turned a little sluggish. They rely on the three ball, so if they start falling early, this could be toast. But I'm betting they don't shoot well on the road, in a get up spot for Furman.
UMASS/Rhode Island Under 158
The pace won't be in my favor, but the offenses aren't great. Specifically the Minutemens offense. Rhode Island has lost two straight, and being at home, you'd imagine you get a fairly spirited effort in this spot.
UTSA/Florida Atlantic Over 160.5
The Roadrunners can score with anyone when Primo Spears is on his game, but they can't stop shit. The pace will be great, and with UTSAs lack of attention on defense, FAU may score 100.
Auburn -12
Auburns offense got shut down against Tennessee on Saturday, and I look for a rebound against a not very good LSU team. AU can't be bet against when they have all their guys, in my opinion.
West Virginia +9
Revenge spot for the Mountaineers, as they lost to Houston two weeks ago by 16. They have dropped two straight, and now get arguably the best team in the country coming to town. Houston also has a look ahead here to Texas Tech. Morgantown gets rowdy, and strange things happen in The Coliseum.
Wichita St +4.5
Bad timing for the Mean Green to be coming into Wichita. The Shockers have lost three straight, and only have one win in conference. But this is the get up spot, coming back home, vs a top 50 team. Koch Arena used to get nutty, hoping the fans show up for the big game, and get shocked ( I had to).
UCONN -14
As much as I despise their head coach, I think the Huskies roll tonight. DePaul was a cute story in the non-con, but the Big East is too much for them to handle. Sounds like Liam McNeely may return to the lineup tonight for the Huskies as well.
Creighton -6
Xavier is coming in off a big win vs UCONN on Saturday, and get a red hot Bluejays team, that has won 3 of their last 4 by 20+. Give me McDermott and his offense at home.
Rutgers +7.5
I'm taking the talent of the Scarlet Knights to keep it close with the methodical play of the Wildcats. If Rutgers can get some buckets in transition, and speed this game up a little bit, they have a shot to win in outright.
Ole Miss -6.5
Chris Beard will take a lot of pleasure in beating the school that fired him. Add on that they have tripped up and lost 3 straight. Yes, they have Auburn on deck, but they can't afford to look past the Horns. Texas is also hitting the road after winning two straight HUGE games vs Mizzou and AM. Time to come back down to earth.
Alabama +1.5
This one feels super trappy, but I think Mississippi St is overvalued. When they have played upper tier teams, they don't tend to play well. Their best win is the Egg Bowl in OT. I think Sears responds to getting benched, and leads the Tide to a BIG road win. All of Alabamas remaining 10 games, are Quad 1 games. Yikes.
