Major rough patch...went 0-4 the other day, and had a 2-4 day before...i was tempted to lay off the card today, but you have to keep grinding...Im still + money right now and need to put that behind me. I go in major streaks..sometimes super cold and super hot..its been like that the last few years...maybe this is the turn for hot right now...but Id be wary of taking anything I am right now...
Lines for today:
URI vs. St. Bona +13.5 150.5
Richmond vs. Duquesne +1.5 149.5
Fordham vs. Mass -10 141.5
Dayton vs. Xavier -3.5 129.5
GW vs. La Salle +1 135
STL vs. Charlotte +3.5 123
back with thoughts soon...

Let me know what u think on Bonnies... I went with them as my pick. I aways like ur A-10 knowledge, but didn't see this before I put it in. If you like Bonnies tell me... If u like RI lie to me

Ill be honest with ya...its not a bad spot for the Bonnies. I wont bet against URI for the most part, but if I was taking the game, Id take the pts. Although, Cothran is back and URI has a knack for extending a game at home....GL sir...
Couple leans so far:
Xavier/Dayton OVER 129: Xavier is shooting over 50% in their last 5 and about 45% from 3. Dayton's defense to me hasn't looked quite as sharp as they did earlier in the season (easy schedule). Both teams still have a very good defense, but have also been putting up points lately...
LAST 5 Xavier+Dayton are at 141.4 PPG
LAST 5 Defense X+D are at 131 PPG
yes the teams they play are an effect, but Dayton gave up nearly 80 to a Charlotte team? WOW..even URI held them in the 60's...I see a game in the mid 130's here...68-65 72-67 type...
Mass/Fordham OVER 141: Fordham only runs, Mass wouldnt mind running. Lowe loves to penerate and this time there isnt anyone in the interior that has a shot at stopping him...this is going to be an up and down game type game. I see this one striking high 140's low 150's...
more to come

GW/La Salle OVER 135: I see a similar game to a couple weeks ago that ended 76-66 scoring wise. Both teams are athletic and dont mind pushing the ball at times. Should be a close game, keeping OT and lots of late fouls in play. GW is not afraid to foul down 8 or 9 with 20 sec to play .
GW -1:
one stat that is interesting is
Home team is 10-1 ATS last 11
Also GW is much more efficient at home numbers wise...I see a season split here. Also, with 1 win...GW is fighting to get to AC in the tournament. This is a must win for them, as well as their other 2 games at home (Charlotte and Bonnies, both of whom are ahead of them by a couple games)...I like the way Diggs is playing and Taylor is turning into a nice PG right now...

when teams are playing higher ranked teams then themselves, more so when its a ranked opponent, the underdogs are more apt to foul down big (8+) with under 45 sec...especially at home...that bodes well for Dayton overs. Ive seen it many times..teams just dont want to throw in the towel against X...AND the better teams will do the same, not wanting to get a loss

Thanks Double..
Also an important thing to know for OVERS...

STL -3.5: I know they have played a lot of minutes lately with OT+ games, but Im not sold on Charlotte. The line is lower due to their home win vs. Dayton. I see a let down here. STL is very dominant at home, yes I said dominant and STL in the same sentence. The fact that they are a little tired though leans me to think OVER. BUT im not 100% sold on that yet. STL has had some moments of offensive greatness well for them at least. Mitchell is a very good player and he will push the ball at times...STL has covered their last 4 and have won 3 in a row...I think that a continues tonight winning by 5
STL/Charlotte OVER 123: See reasons above...

St Bonnies is my fav play of the day, I parlayed it with a tennis fav so I could buy 2 points and still be at -110. The tennis game was a winner, so i just need STB to keep it close on the road

Thanks Sgarhs...i dont know if he is 100% but I have heard many interviews with Coach Baron over the last few weeks and he said he "could have played" but didnt let him...in that he wants him to be extremely healthy before returning..so Id say close if not 100%...
guys like you keep me coming back and posting here when sometimes im like ehhh...

Crnshw - Think you are gonna bounce back today. I was torn on the Dayton/Xavier game, the line is tight. I'm glad I checked your post because the Over seems like the best play. I hope Dayton pulls it off but I was leanin Xavier -3.5. Flyers looked pretty flat against Charlotte, which I bet on the 49ers. No telling if this team bounces back, but the fans will definitely be into the game. Wright needs to play about 1000 times better for these guys to have a shot.
Best of Luck

i cant wait to go to the xavier/dayton game tonight the atmosphere is gonna be great. i agree with your lean of the game going over its my POD. both teams can fill it up and like to run. it all depends on which dayton team shows up though. the team that couldn't buy a bucket against miami & st. louis or the team that gets out and runs and puts up 70 which is more of the norm. i see the latter in this huge conference clash.

Crus - With you on GW and St. L, also took Xavier...I'm not an A-10 expert by any means, but hopefully after going 3-0 tonight on these plays I'll make a step in that direction!

Coach Mooney said on the coaches show yesterday that Harper is highly doubtful. I posted it in my thread. Butler will play tonight in his place. I just don't think the Spiders have the PG play to last. I think the best play is wait until 2H. Richmond may lead 1st half but heavy legs will take their toll and the turnovers will happen in the 2h.

Blake, I know you seem to be big on the Dukes, to which I cant totally disagree, but I think this is a good let down spot for Duquesne. They win this game, then I will have to start considering them as a team that could go deep into the A-10 tournament...
harper out hurts, cause he can shoot from a lot of the floor...
May rethink it but still a lean...
LEAN:
Richmond -1.5: I like the let down spot for the dukes...harper out, but the veteran backcourt seems ripe for a good game. Richmond can get out and run if necessary...they basically run a faster paced princeton offense. Good spot for them tonight....the books are almost asking you to take DUQ IMO...

I'm not saying I like Duquesne. I'm just saying that this is a fragile team right now...big time. I'd almost consider a Spiders 1H play if you feel so strongly and play the Dukes 2H.
