Why all the Middle Tenn. St. love?

I feel like I'm one of the very few who likes St. Mary's.  The WCC is a better conference than the Sun Belt, 3 of St. Mary's losses were at the hands of a very good Gonzaga team, and the only quality win I see on Middle Tenn. State's resume seems to be at home against Ole Miss.  St. Mary's beat BYU twice, Santa Clara twice, Pacific, Harvard, and Creighton.

So I have to ask, what am I missing?

First Four logistics. St Mary's took a 6:15 am flight yesterday, crossed 3 time zones, straight to practice & pressers, plays tonight.

I'm biased as to where I live, but I agree! I've been on this site long enough to know when the "boards" are leaning one way - it tends to swing the other way   Don't know why, but history has show...

Ive watched SMC play a few times this year. Highly overrated team that can be derailed by pressing Delvadova. Any team that has good defensive efficiency and can control the tempo has a good chance to beat the Gails.

how about the 2 neutral site losses to GTech and Pacific?

and add in the fact that they just traveled across the country to play this game, also MTSU is very good defensively 

That is why I'm on MTSU   GL to you tonight

Did you watch them play against someone other than Gonzaga?  I really don't count those games...

The loss to Ga. Tech I think is the only game you can say they stunk it up all year.  They had 21 turnovers, 10 more than their season average, and Dellavedova had a 1-8 night.  The loss to Pacific isn't that bad imo.  Pacific is a 22 win team who won their conference title.

Also, I think it's easy to pad defensive stats when you play in the Sun Belt..

the typical tired legs, traveling, had to sit on the runway for hours, coach's dog is sick BS.  another loser for the forum
