I love the Jacks +12.5.  They lost by 9 at Penn St; beat both Nebraska and Middle Tennesse State at home.  They have never lost ATS in the NCAA tournament.  I will keep pressing with that stat.  BOL!

South Carolina wins games with defense but have challenges scoring. I'm not exactly sure what I was expecting in regards to the line on this one but when I saw 12.5, I did scratch my head a bit.

What I do like is the fact that the Jackrabbits have been there and done that in regards to making the tourney and feel its about time they win one game or at least take it right down to the wire.

South Carolina plays the equivalent of Wisconsin in Men's hoops, except they aren't nearly as efficient on offense.

This game will plod along at a snail's pace and if SDSU can stay in it early, the 12.5 point should seem like a ton in a game like this.

Chances are i will be making a fairly decent size wager on the ladies of SDSU later on today.

Absolutely... to add to that SC hits free throws at a rate of 55% vs. 72% for the Jacks; and 3 pointers at the rate of 22% versus 45% for the Jacks.  I think even if the Jacks are down they can climb right back into the game due to the above.  I have 4 units straight on the game.  2 in a teaser.

I hope the Lady Jacks don't get caught up in the moment and see S. Carolina and SEC. They can win this game outright if they force SC to shoot from the outside. They have put up some horrible performances from outside of the arc.

I watched SC go 2-10 from 3 point range and 10-20 from the free throw line against A&M in the SEC tournament. Brutal.

God would I love an outright win.  +750 is looking very appetizing too but I cannot pull the trigger as I am such a big pu$$y when it comes to playing the ML on a big dog.  I just make my spread bets large if I think they can win outright.  Three years ago the Jacks won either one or two games I cannot remember but they ran into Baylor in Texas and got screwed royally.  Basically lead all game long and Kim Murlucky threw a fit several times and every time she did the next call went against the Jacks whether they deserved it or not.  To top it all off the last minute of the game the Jacks were up 1 or 2 and a BS foul call was made over the back on that ugly freckled faced chick (Megan or Melissa Jones) and she was a poor free throw shooter so she went down holding her ankle.  Kim got to choose her best FT shooter off the bench no less, sunk both, while the ugly freckled faced chicked jumped up and down on the bench on her bad ankle and the Jacks ended up losing by a couple.  Of course she came back in to finish the game later on too.  I went on the Baylor boards that night and I was told that yes we got screwed but the Jacks need to pay their dues in womens basketball so maybe someday if they play in the tournament long enough they will get these calls.  Kim being a HOF coach has earned these calls because she has been around so long.  I was like WTF!  I have never been more pi$$ed about a game in my life.  Yes three years later I am still fired up.  Anyway I assure you they have played better than SC and will not be caught up with playing them.  Remember Nebraska was ranked #5 in the nation when they beat them at home.  BOL!

Might add an additional unit on the Lady Jacks. Every so often SC will catch fire from the outside, and if that happens then SDS has no shot but Im banking my money that it wont happen as they have shown very little to make me think otherwise.

The win SDS had against the Huskers was impressive but I was actually MORE impressed with the way they basically went toe to toe with Penn State up in Happy Valley. Lady Lions were the class of the Big 10 and SDS gave them all they wanted in that game.

If they can play within 10 to Penn State in that environment, I have to imagine they can play with S. Carolina in a neutral floor game in Boulder.

These girls will not give up but dang SC is hitting 3s I didn't think was possible for them. SDSU needs to play more open and stop trying to pound it down low. Wish I would have played the over too.

Yeah, jesron they are shooting 60% from the field, I would bet you the gamecocks havent done that all year.

I may just go ahead and let my bet play out. Once this game settled in and SC made a run I wanted to see how SDSU was going to respond.

tduece69... thanks for the nice comments. There is no question Michigan did a great job making Nate feel uncomfortable. He has had great games against top competition so it should not negatively effect his draft stock too much. If he could have got to the Sweet Sixteen or better he might have moved up in the mid-first round ala Wally Srbesak with Miami of Ohio in 1999. Yes I also believe he felt a little pressure and put too much on his shoulders and definitely was pressing too much but all in all SDSU missed the cover by a couple points so cannot complain too much.

Yeah what I mean is they shoot 5 of them snd actually made 2. Kinda expected that to be far less. No second half play but if I were it would either be SDSU or under.

Well, I won't be thanking you in 2 hours....lol, they sure put up a stinker tonight. I'll stick to men's for now, best I luck the rest of the tourney.

yep this game went about opposite in every aspect that I expected... USC even hit their free throws down the stretch to close out the game.

Who are we kidding here. If not for Elana Della Donne this Delaware team would be in the BOTTOM HALF of the CAA conference. This is Kansas from last year all over again. E.D.D. will go off for 30+ points but will get no help from the rest of her team.

Sure she is the best player on the court but this isn't Danny and The Miracles here, West Virginia is clearly the better team here. The full game line and second half line are strictly due to Della Donne.

She will be a great pro but can't do it alone.  West Virginia wins this game straight up.
