What we know.. Wright state played a very competitive game (for the first half) against a colorado state team that is loaded and more then likely tourney bound.. they succumb to travel, altitude, first game of year with the fort Collins kids already having a game under their belt..
First home game of the year.. Wright state brings back basically all they production. Calvin Is a premier scorer.. Holden who was the go to guy for Wright before transferring to Ohio state transferred back.. they need to figure out how to coexist in the same backcourt and you got the top 1, 2 scoring tandem in the nation.. the way Noel and Braun came on last year towards the end gives them two legit bigs for a mid major.. they got in foul trouble vs colorado state and the rams controlled the paint.. toledo lacking the talent inside with two 16 ppg forwards graduating out I don't see them doing that.
Toledo on the other hand has to replace top 3 players.. conference player of the year Dennis to Baylor. And two 5 year forwards shumate and millner.. that's a combined 52 points they are missing .. they return several guards who had production and a backup slides in.. but where is the answer for the forwards they have played a couple true freshmen and a couple transfers that weren't notable on previous teams..
I like Wright states combo of holden and Calvin to will to a win and cover at home..
