XAVIER Has Already Beaten Missouri and Memphis

 

Don't forget to mention Missouri getting blown out by Kansas 3 weeks ago.  IMO, if Kansas can handle Missouri by 20+, so can Memphis.  This game isn't going to be as close as some expect it to be.

I'm probably not playing this game, but dude your reasoning just isn't that good. The "this team beat this team so they have to play well against this team angle" is NOT a smart one by any means. Not to mention, Xavier beat those 2 teams in NOVEMBER. Both Xavier and Pitt are completely different teams right now. I'm not trying to tell you Xavier is a bad bet, but your reasoning for taking them just isn't that solid.

Xavier also beat Temple and Charlotte the first time they played them. Plus how hard is it to get up for those late A-10 games on the road when you already have the conference and a NCAA tourney bid all but locked up.

The Duke loss came on a nuetral site and they got whooped in the first half as the Dukies came shooting lights out. To be noted that Xavier beat them in the 2nd half and it was Xaviers' exam week.

These kids actually care about good grades and graduating. If you look back over the years....X always struggles during exam week. A great betting angle as well.

Who do you think Sean Miller wants to beat more than any one???? His alma mater...where he was a star point guard.

Who has the better mascot??? Xavier has the Musketeer and Blue Blob. That's 2 against 1 on the lowly panther!

FYI Memphis and Missouri were both in a preseason tournament lol. We both know those are not the same teams as today. Here is a response I had involving this game with ACTUAL FACTS. ALSO, Butler beat these clowns by double digits, Duke game was 500% NOT AT CAMERON but keep thinking that. The game was over before half as they were down 20+ Duke could of won by 40.

Love the time and effort and research. Will be looking into the First Half Over. Like all the plays so far except this one. You said PITTSBURGH HASNT BEEN IMPRESSIVE ON EITHER END. Granted they had a walk through in round one and were less then impressive. Round 2 my god Oklahoma State was one of the hottest teams in the country, and became solid with Moses in the lineup the last 15 games. Name a team that would have the mental toughness to go in tied at half time when its opponent hits 11 3s in one half? Granted that means they didnt play great D, but look at any game where a team hits freakin 11 3s in a half and isnt down atleast 10-15 points? They hung 80 points so themselves so I think that means they played pretty well on the offensive end. I just think this team is so experienced and they have what most teams do not. A PG, A wing Man, and a Big man. When Lawson is healthy UNC can say that. Pitt has never been impressive or pretty all year long or ever for that matter. What scares me, and I think the reason the line is this high is the A-10 sucks and was down this year. Xavier itself is down this year. Look when they actually stepped up AWAY from home or stepped up in competition what happened to them. They didn't beat a Solid A-10 team away from home Losses to Dayton, Deq, Charlotte, and Richmond. You serious with that?  Lost to Duke & Butler by Double Digits. Now, you can look back months and months ago in the preseason tourney and say "HEY, they beat Memphis and Missouri" Very true, they did. I don't take much from preseason tournaments and I think its safe to say both Memphis & Missouri are 5x better at this point in the year, where I feel Xavier has declined.

Portland State sucks, don't give me their solid. THey are below average. I'm close to FSU and I will tell you Wisconsin is atrocious if not for whitey having a career game heaving 3s they lose by 15 to FSU. Don't take much stock in beating some of the last teams to make the tournament in a 12 and a 13. I think a lot of people are down on Pitt right now, and that is usually when teams strike.

  BINGO!!!!  My thughts exactly. And look who they just beat to get here...... Wisconsin and Portland State!! They were down 7 in 2nd half to WISCONSIN!!!  Pitt just smoked one of the hottest teams in the tourney, in OK State last game,, after their terrible start. That got thier attention. They will jump out to a big lead in this game and never look back. BOL with the rest of your plays.
