Huge Duke fan and alum here. Without kelly Duke loses this game. With Kelly i still felt nc state had a pretty good shot at beating Duke. This is nc states biggest home game in many many years. The place will be crazy and my blue devils havent played a true road game this year. I only see 3 ways Duke wins this game and they're all long shots. 1) IF plumlee plays like a man the way he did the first month of the season BUT he is regressing(taking fade away jumpers,free throw shooting headed back down and way too many turnovers) 2) if curry shoots lights out and scores in the high 20's thus picking up kellys 12 points a game average.This is the most likely scenario 3) the 3 headed monster of marshall/amile/murphy step up huge and have their coming out party.You see glimpses of the greatness to come when they actually get to play but Coach K hasnt been giving them nearly enough minutes so this probably wont happen. Hairston gets wayyy to many minutes and hes useless on the offensive end. And theres no need to mention kellys missed presence on defense. him and thornton are our best defenders so i expect state to score early and often.
I just dont see Duke winning this game. 5 unit play for me GL ALL
