If you had to make just one play for 10k … let’s say that is a lot of money for most of us… what season Win total/division winner ect would you put it on… need one closest to a lock you can get: Close to even money…
I have it down to either Baltimore to win division +155…
Colts to win Division…
Bama to win West/Ohio St Big Ten champ parlay…

You could actually get Ohio State over 10.5 wins -220, that is likely as sure as it’s going to get. No possible way they lose twice unless something shocking and catastrophic happens, according to the reports and preseason publications. They should cruise through the nonconference, and likely only be severely tested in Big Ten play two times. Display even accounts for one loss on the season

I like that play on OSU… even though they travel to Happy Valley… it’s not a white out game.. my only thing is… if Stroud goes down… it could be bad… the Baltimore pick for example.. I think Huntley could still keep the ball rollin..

Bang for Buck- Colts to win the AFC or SB if you like em enough to consider betting them to win the division. Matt Ryan needs the Colts more than they need him. He has unfinished business and feel he will be focused with the surrounding pieces to win a SB. Taylor will maybe the best back in the league. TY no longer a distraction, and Mo Allie Cox has a high ceiling with the right QB. Wouldn’t know much about the defense but they have been solid in years past and the division is probably the weakest in the league if not the AFC North. I would consider them winning the division closer to a certainty than the odds indicate.
Sure Thing- Broncos u10 wins at + money. Russel Wilson is past the point in his career of solving franchises problems. He was trending downward hard last season when on the field, save a few games. Broncos do not have any offensive pieces and seem lost as a franchise. You’re selling Russell Wilson and the Broncos at the highest price you will ever get here. They probably won’t be .500 given their division.

Thanks bro… got me thinking about that Broncos pick… should be the most competitive division in football… as for the Colts… I think you are right.. question is how fast will Ryan adapt…he’s been on the same team his whole career… even if he can be a game manager they should be successful.. Colts are definitely one of my picks.. I’m looking at UCF over 8.5 also…maybe Oklahoma St Under? I think they will take a step back..

Penn St is 9-8 in whiteout games and Buckeyes are 3-2 in whiteout games at Penn St.

Yeah OSU avoids the whiteout this year so not real worried about Penn St.. they usually beat them to the tune of around 12 points… that game is still huge though bc if both teams are undefeated in the conference this is the tie breaker… wish Ohio St had a more experienced backup QB though…

Regarding the Colts, it’s as much of a bet on Matt Ryan when taking them further than winning the division. He’s been a winner his whole life except for the NFL, and he tasted a bit so assume he’s hungry. His numbers have consistently been there, even with age and below average personnel surrounding him on offense. There’s a little faith involved with taking them as SB winners, probably even conference champs. The odds are absolutely exposable though in my opinion and could as of now the conference and SB prices present excellent hedge opportunities later down the road. I didn’t bet $10K but have a considerable amount on Indianapolis to win the SB. Disclaimer I will say as an attachment to that bet is that I’m more of an odds hunter than a predictor.

You are right about Ryan.. I still remember the Boston College days… I think he definitely needed a change of environment… should have left that dump a decade ago… they never respected him there… I don’t know about the conference… the AFC is loaded..but if they could get a first round bye, it’s only two game to the SB… good luck bro.. that roster is loaded and they drafted well.. only question is… will TN take a step back? They are probably not too happy about that playoff exit…

I do think the Titans take a step back. I’m actually becoming a fan of them as I’ve lived in Nashville for the past six months. I certainly had my own opinions on the Titans before talking back and forth with fans on a regular basis but there’s two flavors- one group is betting them to win the SB. The other says the offensive line could be one of the worst, if not the worst, in the league and think Tannehill is a waste of time rostering. The latter tend to come off more informed. Defense should be there, they will be good. Offense will be a mess I think even if Henry is healthy 100% of the season. Whatever you choose, best of luck brother.

I think you settled it for me on the Colts… I think TN has too much to overcome… Loss of Brown.. even though the rookie replacement will be good in time he’ll probably take a year to adjust..the OL… Tannehill… and Henry has some miles.. the D will be solid under Vrbel but I’m going with the complete team with a QB that has something to prove..it’s most likely between the Colts/Baltimore for me…good luck on your futures too!

I’m from Arkansas and graduated from the U of A. Burks will be stud and the Titans made the right choice for their long term success and short term financial situation.

Penn state always plays Ohio tough at home. Penn state has a 5 star frosh running back and 5 star qb behind clifford. Defense will be respectable. That game could be interesting. Michigan likely to be 11-0 going in to columbus also.
