I don’t post here much, but always love coming on covers. Longtime bettor and thought I would give my thoughts on this game. I’ve watched both teams all season. As we know this is not typical OU. The offense has been bad all year and it struggles to get much going at times. The Maine game could not have come at a better time for the Sooners. It gave them a chance to work on its offense before the last three games. They will get MIZ, Bama and LSU to finish the year. I believe these two teams matchup pretty well. Both good defense/mediocre offense. MIZ will be without its starter Brady Cook. This is a HUGE loss to the offense and when they played two good teams, the offense did not show up. 10 pts @ A&M and 0 vs Bama. I thought Mizzou was overrated coming into the year. I didn’t expect them to look this rough at times, but it hasn’t been pretty. Outside of the Vandy win (have to give them some respect) MIZ has no good wins. Jackson Arnold has taken over QB duties since he was benched earlier in season. Honestly believe he makes them much better and gives OU the best chance to win. He may not be as good as the 5 star ranking, but I believe he has talent and a chip on his shoulder for the people who don’t believe.
This game will come down to turnovers and which offense can capitalize when they get the opportunity. If OU can do this, they are the play. It can be hard to trust them from what we have seen in SEC play, but this is a great spot against backup QB Drew Pyne.
Oklahoma -3 (-110) to win 2u
