I will put MY LINE, not Vegas' line, but my line below for this game.
#1 Alabama vs. #15 Florida
My Line: ALA -15
Alabama
What is Alabama's offense made of? Jalen Hurts. All you need to know. He is a dual threat quarterback and the bad news for the Gators is that they haven't been able to contain all dual threat quarterbacks yet. If that keeps up, Hurts will torch the Gators. Florida LB Jarrad Davis will have to have a solid game, as he usually does, to keep this game close.
Florida
Florida's offense is not as anemic as it was a year ago, but it still needs significant improvement. Austin Appleby, in my opinion, should remain the starter for the rest of the season as Del Rio has really struggled as of late. They do have some explosive play makers however, starting with RB Jordan Scarlet, who gave LSU fits in the 2nd half last week. Wide Receivers Tyrie Cleveland and Antonio Calloway have torched secondaries all season, so Alabama will have to play smart coverage in order to contain them.
Starting Quarterback Projections:
Alabama: Jalen Hurts.
Why start someone else when this kid has had a hell of a year?
Florida: Austin Appleby.
Del Rio may be fully recovered from his injury, but I see Appleby remaining under center for the Gators.
Prediction
Obviously going with Alabama here, but Florida will be closer than the experts think. I really don't think Alabama has seen a defense like Florida's this season, and they will definitely be challenged all game long.
Expect this game to be much of last year's, where the game was close until the 4th quarter. Florida will find the end zone a few times, maybe once or twice on offense, but it won't be enough. Alabama wins.
Prediction: Alabama 31, Florida 17

Yeah, a post from a homer fan is going to get a lot credibility on a betting site, right, Be a fan, pull for your team, be delusional if you want, but Florida;s defense is good, but not that great. And it isn't the key to this game anyuway, it's what the Bama defense will do to a really bad Gator offense that will determine why this game will not be close. Bama's offense will be working with short fields all day and put up enough points to cover any spread under 20.
