thankfully the bulldogs covered last night and laid the first brick in my path to prosperity. i bet $225 and got a tidy $204.55 in return. the cashbox is now overflowing with a cool $429.55
my next bet is texas -11 $429.55 to win $390.50
the casual observer will scoff at me and i will turn their incredulity into fuel for my next bet. i understand this is not the dominant texas teams of years gone by. they are weak. they have suspended nine players. charlie strong lost the locker room. all of that is true. i know they were blown out by byu. however in that game the halftime score was byu 6 texas 0. they were in that game, but an inexplicable epic meltdown in the 3rd quarter sealed their fate. texas led ucla for much of that game and quite frankly should have won. kansas has played 2 garbage teams and the only so called 'quality' team they played was duke and they got drilled.
11 points on the road on a seemingly struggling team seems, on the surface at least, foolhardy. gentleman texas wins this.
