Life long Alabama fan and avid realist, as I have bet against Bama twice this year, and hit both (WKU/OLE MISS). Everyone in general public looks at the last three weeks and the salty numbers opposing QB's have put up on Bama's D. This is not however the formula for beating Alabama. If you want to "BEAT BAMA" you have to have some consistency in the run game and play a balanced game on Offense. Butch Jones knows this, and if there is any game that he wants to win more than anything it is this one. We all remember the banners week one from the loathing Tennersee fans in Dallas who proclaimed they would beat Bama twice this year. That's all fine and nice and UT is more than capable of beating Bama, but if they want to they have to establish the run. HENCE JALEN HURD SITTING OUT LAST WEEK AT A&M FOR AN UNDISCLOSED INJURY.....................I am not buying. Butch Jones wanted Hurd healthy so that he could lean on him the entire game. Also Nick Saban had a special team meeting this week for a solid film/chalk talk with the secondary. I expect their play to be much more focused and on point. Heat index will be in the low 90's and this game will be a physical battle in the trenches. Look for Bama and UT both to play conservative games and try and not give the other team any easy points. I see TOP and TO's being the gameplan for both teams.
