Well guys WKU has been good to me this year and with their win last week over FAU I won my futures play on them getting me a winning Saturday. 3-2 day +$930 29-23 on the season +$4,060. Before I get to the plays and write-ups I have some info for you and the I have a rant. 1st the info. I have 2 futures plays which could be decided today:
If Utah State loses I lose $500
If Hawaii loses I lose $200{I need both to win out so I get a push on both futures}
Now to the rant and this happened in the College hoops forum.I don't appreciate being bullied by posters especially those who are Penn State fans. I don't go in your threads and mock your plays so I ask you don't do that tome. I'm not the best bettor in this forum and i'm not the worst either{IMO i'm somewhere in the middle}
Plays and write-ups coming up guys

This line flat out surprised me. Southern Miss is 6-3 {4-1 C-USA} 6-2 ATS off a bye where they beat UTEP 34-13 on Halloween. Rice is 4-5 {2-3 in C-USA} 3-4-1 ATS off a 24-21 loss to UTEP. This is the 6th time this year Rice is a dog and the 3rd time they've been a home dog{Most since 2012}
How has Southern Miss turned it around? Nick Mullens the qb has taken a nice step forward. They have the #13 offense in FBS and the #15 pass offense. Rice has had struggles this year this isn't the Rice team we're used to especially defensively allowing 36 PPG and 441.2 yards a game
So why Rice? Well they're 8-0 SU on homecoming under Coach Bailiff. They're 7-1 SU and ATS in their 2nd to last HM game under Bailiff. Rice is 11-6-2 ATS at HM since 2012. They're 20-13 SU under Coach Bailiff in regular season games in November and December. Plus they're 6-0 ATS the last 6 games after a SU fave loss. Southern Miss is 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 as a fave
Consider this as well guys. LY Rice was an 8.5 pt fave over Southern Miss winning 41-23. Now they're a 7.5 dog.... How did they get 16 points worse from LY's meeting? The last time S.Miss was a RD fave vs a school that wasn't transitioning to FBS football was 2011 at UAB. Hell the last time they won and covered as a RD fave was at ECU in 2011. Wrong team is favored and ilike Rice to win outright
2. Oregon State +21 for $1,100
A losing streak will be snapped today as Ore.State has lost 6 in a row and Cal has lost 4 in a row. This is a revenge game for the Beavers. Had they won LY's game they would've made a bowl. They lost 45-31 as a 4.5 pt fave. Ore.State allowed 269 rush yards a season worst as well as 34 1st downs. Cal had their best yds per carry day at 5.7 and outgained the Beavers by 78 yards. Daniel Lasco the RB for Cal had a career high 188 rushing yards and 3 td's
Ore.State at 2-7 is now in a position to play the spoiler role as Cal comes in 5-4. Cal has 3 LB's questionable for today, 2 in the secondary and WR Kenny Lawler according to covers is questionable with a "Buttocks Injury"That's a new one for me. I just don't see Coach Andersen for Oregon State to allow his team not to show up in B2B weeks after getting shutout vs UCLA last week. This game will be closer than the final score and I like OSU to keep it within the number
Final 3 plays coming up

Without question this game is a Big 12 elimination game. Oklahoma is 8-1{5-1 in Big 12} 7-2 ATS and 4-0 SUATS after their loss to Texas. Baylor 8-0{ 5-0 in Big 12} 4-2-1 ATS off their 31-24 win but no cover at K-State
A lot of talk in this game about revenge for Oklahoma as the last 2 years they've been outscored 89-25 in the losses to Baylor. Much improved team with the new OC Lincoln Riley and the new qb Baker Mayfield. A lot of folks have been concerned with Baylor especially with the Seth Russell injury which is a big loss. But people IMO have glossed over a comment that Art Briles had about Stidham the new qb when he said that Stidham is the best freshman qb he's been around. Remember this the man who coached Kevin Kolb and Case Keenum at Houston as well as RG3,Florence,Petty and Russell here at Baylor. Briles doesn't blow smoke
20 straight Hm wins for Baylor{14-3 ATS in that stretch} 31-15 ATS at Home. 2 great offenses will be on the field and the TO ratio IMO will be a key. Oklahoma comes in +3 in TO ratio where as Baylor is+11. Oklahoma has allowed 27 sacks this year to Baylor's 9. Stidham should be fine IMO.They didn't struggle vs K-State because of him it was because the defense didn't understand that K-State likes the qb power run
Should be a fun game and in the end I see Baylor taking advantage of a turnover or 2 from Baker Mayfield and win 41-31
4. Tulsa +18 for $660
Winner of this game is bowl eligible as both come in 5-4 SU and 2-3 in the American.Tulsa has won 2 in a row and Cincy is coming off an emotional 33-30 loss at Houston. Tulsa has had 3 straight games scoring 40 or more points. Cincinnati has had 3 straight 30 or more point games
2 really good qb's in Dane Evans and Gunner Kiel. Keeping this short and sweet I see this game as a shootout and ilike getting +18 in a shootout. 48-34 final score
5. Marshall -10 for $660
Senior Day and an emotional day at Marshall today. Why is it emotional? Do you know what today is guys? Today is the 45th anniversary of the Marshall plane crash. Marshall has played 6 times on this day and are 4-2.
FIU is 5-5 {3-3 in C-USA} 5-4 ATS off a 48-31 win but no cover over Charlotte. Marshall is 8-2 {5-1 in C-USA} 5-2-2 ATS off the triple OT loss at MTSU last week. The Thundering Herd IMO have been under the radar and undervalued this year. A lot of their spreads have been bet down today included. They've played the young qb Chase Litton who has thrown for nearly 2000 yards this year with 19 TD and 5 INT
To come into Huntington and win you have to IMO have a good running game. FIU is 113th in rushing. They have 1 RD win this year over winless UCF by a point. I like where FIU is headed and I like the qb McGough but this team should already have 6 wins. 2 bad losses to UMASS and FAU and they could be costly becuase after today FIU hosts WKU where they should again be a DD dog
Marshall has beaten FIU the last 2 years by a combined 90-23. They have the #10 defense in the country in terms of yards allowed. SR day for Marshall and with a win today they have a game at WKU for the C-USA East division title and Marshall will have 13 days to prepare. I like Marshall to bounce back and win a 34-17 type of game
BOL today guysYour thoughts are welcome

I wouldn't bet against Stoops as a dog...check into that...by the way I like you bro, just can't forget your tunnel vision with your NFL boys vs the Giants a few years back-but tomorrow they should pummel Detroit
