Bingo!! this game goes under. What u guys fail to realize is that if this was supposed to be a high scoreing game dnt u think the line wld be higher. This game Screams under. New qb. Natale blows, kordell young isnt 100%, yeah rutgers held them to a season low 13 last yr but thats last yr. Cincy wins this game outrt, and it goes under 20-17, 23-17

BOL fellas........
Just trying to keep it simple here.......
Since 2003, both squads have opened the season with a scoring avg of:
Bearceats: 34ppg
Rutgers: 23ppg
Both teams were loaded with firepower last yr and still managed to score only 23 total pts. You take away Rutgers Teel at QB and what you have is a less potent Rutgers offense in 09' which IMHO push the total even lower.
I remembered the matchup, clearly last season, the Bearcats were 0-for-11 on third downs @ home and piled up 115 yards on 12 penalties overall by Rutgers, three of them for unsportsmanlike conduct. Bearcats D was stout, manhandling Rutgers OL and they couldn't get anything going. Fortunately for Rutgers, this game will be at home + the 10 starters on D that mandled their OL are GONE.
Rutgers RBs & returning OL should have their way tonight at home with their run game. The uncertainty at the QB position for Rutgers are making the Over cappers nervous IMO, but I factor in the young inexperience D of Bearcats in a season opener, on the road in a hostile environment vs. Rutgers experience OL + RBs...this one can definitely get over 47 if you factor in the Bearcats potent offense. The play action will be there all night for Rutgers because of their run game, just got to trust coach Schiano to start the QB that will be able to make the throw to his open receivers.
