well guys got the 2-0 sweep last night as UCLA got the cover and the over. 2-0 day +$700 40-34 on the season +$7,550. I have a bunch of plays today i'll get to the 1 no one cares about 1st:
1. Colorado -3 +100 for $1,000
This is a measuring stick game for both programs and both coaches who are in year 1 at their new schools. Colorado comes in at 3-6 and because of the flood that happened they received an NCAA waiver that if they finish with 6 wins though they played 2 fcs schools they would be bowl eligible. Now i know that even with a win today it would be hard for the Buffaloes to end up with 6 wins but there's still a chance
The big thing that stikcs out is that Cal can't play a lick of defense. Their opponents have scored 30+ points in every game. Now obviously defensively Colorado isn't Alabama but i believe the altitude will be a factor for Coach Dykes offense today. I think defensively they'll have a hard team covering Paul Richardson and Cal will also struggle with the Buffs pistol attack. Add it up and i like the Buffs to keep their bowl hopes alive and win by 8-10 points
2. Central Michigan -2.5 for $440
I made a thread a few days back saying that though Central Michigan is 3-6 their schedule sets up for them to be in a bowl.They have 3 winnable games starting today with Western Michigan. Central Michigan has played better since getting the snot beat out of them at NC State a month ago
As for Western Michigan they're 1-9 on the year and they imo choked last week vs Eastern Michigan losing in OT. W.Michigan's opponents have scored 26+ points in every game this year and 6 more times in a row dating back to LY. Central Michigan hasn'ts cored more than 26 points in a game this year i think they'll have 30+ and i like the Chippewas to win by at least a td
3. West Virginia -7 +100 for $500
West Virginia comes in 4-6 but with Kansas today and Iowa State 13 days from now their schedule sets up for them to make a bowl. LY West Virginia beat Kansas to get to 6-6. WV is coming off back to back OT games. Some believe West Virginia lets down but imo they can't afford too
Kansas has lost 27 conference games in a row. Hell their last conference win vs a BIg 12team thats still in the Big 12 was 2009. West Virginia can score Charlie Weis's team has problems scoring. They're 3-18 since Weis became the HC in Lawrence and in all 3 wins they held their opponents in the teens. Do you think they'll do that to West Virginia? I don't. I like West Virginia to win by DD
4. Texas Tech +28 for $770
When watching Baylor beat the snot of Oklahoma i said to myself "Baylor better be careful with Texas Tech next week" Now i don't see the Red Raiders pulling the upset but i also don't see them losing by 30+ After starting 7-0 they've lost 2 straight and you have those out there say "See Texas Tech was a fraud" They're exactly what i picked them to be. Before the year i said Texas Tech will start 7-0 and lose their final 5
As for Baylor i believe this is your classic let down/look ahead spot. you come off the Thursday night win over Oklahoma some saying that was the biggest win in Baylor history and after this game you have road games at Oklahoma State and TCU. Coach Briles got a 10 year extension this past week as well. I just see this game being back and forth for a while but Baylor winning by 14-17 points which wouldn't hurt my feelings because with a Baylor win i would win my future play on Baylor
5. Memphis -1.5 for $330
This is another 1 of those measuring stick games as Memphis and USF will meet today. I liek this Memphis program they remind me a bit of Akron in terms of their record doesn't indicate how good i believe they are. Memphis comes in at 2-6 they've played every team tough this year. And Memphis's schedue sets up for them to finish 5-7 winning 4 of their last 5
For USF better days are ahead with Willie Taggert at the helm as they come in 2-6. Injuries and ineffectiveness have been the story for the Bulls this year. The most points they've scored in a game was 26 as points have been hard to come by. Whoever loses today is eliminated from bowl contention. I liek Memphis to take their talents to South Florida and come out with the win
6. 2 team 6 point teaser Akron -0.5 Cincinnati +7.5 for $110
We'll call this my Ohio Teaser All i'll need is Akron to win and for Cincy to keep their game within a td? I'll bite
