A Few More Week 1 Picks

May have covered a few these already... 

UCF -4 vs Bosie State

If this game were at Boise this would likely be on Bosie, but its not. Tough to go nearly across the country week 1 with a new head coach. I get that Bosie returns most of their team from last year, but those starters seemed to be out most of last year. I do not think that UCF is going to have any problems putting up points on Bosie. I do think that Bosie can put up quite a few as well. High scoring game. I just think UCF is going to be too fast here and I love the transfers they got on D especially Big Kat! Big Gus the Bus gets a great first win at home week 1. 

Ole Miss -8 over Louisville 

I think Ole Miss wins and wins BIG here. Could easily see them putting up 50. Louisville may be the most unreliable team in college football and need to prove me different. Ole Miss is to big, to fast, and better coached. Louisville lost 2 of their 3 offensive playmakers from the past two years. And yes, Ole Miss defense will be better than it was last year! Ole Miss by at least 14 there. Prob my favorite week 1 play. 

Wisconsin -3.5 vs Penn State

Wisconsin going to be very good. They finally have a VERY GOOD QB and seem to return most of their team this year especially on D. Wisconsin is going to hold teams to very few points just as they always do, but the difference is that on offense they are going to be able to have a very balanced attack rather than run the ball 90% of the time. Penn will be a good team but I just dont trust their QB even though we played for the same HS lol. Wisconsin wins by 10 or 14 at Camp Randal. 

Oklahoma -23 over Tulane 

I don't have a good write up on this. Bottom line is I think Oklahoma has the best offense in the country, the best QB in the country, and what will be an improved defense. Tulane may have a good season but OU is going to come out and score as many points as they can for the first three quarters. One quarter will not be enough time for Tulane to cover especially as they are a heavy heavy run team.

OSU -13.5 vs Minnesota

FS +9.5 vs ND 

LSU -4.5 vs UCLA

Maryland +3.5 vs WV

Missouri -13 vs Central Michigan 

Add: 

Kansas State +1.5 VS Stanford

These teams are very similarly matched and play the same style of ball. The advantage this year is that KS simply has much more returning production than Stanford does. Seems like a 17-7ish game. 

Double bet on: 

Ole Miss -8 over Louisville  

Got this before line moved and is still my fav play of week 1. 

I think the line is at 10.5 now. I would still play it.

LSU -4.5 vs UCLA

The more i look at this game the more I think its not really going to be close. 

LSU has like 3 top 5 recruiting classes now enrolled. The quality of recruits between them and UCLA is pretty clear. 

This game will be won in the trenches on both sides of the ball by LSU especially in the second half.

Im opposite with Boise St. They went to Florida couple seasons ago and beat FSU in their own house to start the season. UCF is much better of course, but I like a couple things about the matchup. Malzahn hired an OC from Hawaii..... And Boise St is familiar enough with that offense that I dont think the Knights will suprise Broncos.... Boise St, on the other hand, has a new offense that the coaches and players seem to be excited about. I think Boise can win that game. Either way, good luck 

Bro it’s your picks , your money . But those are terrible picks and they all come with joe public theories . “Gus bus” is cool but not when everyone is taking a plane , his offense will be a slower tempo than ucf is used to it’s going to take some time to adjust. UCLA will beat LSU straight up. The wrong team is favored for penn st / Wisconsin but if nothing else that is a field goal game and how you feel confident taking them at more than 3 is baffling. The popular narrative is that Notre dame will drop off significantly because of Ian book but I actually think jack coan is an upgrade. They will push FSU around and could easily win that by two or three tds. OSU @ Minnesota stay away!! You gonna learn the easy or the hard way not to fuck with a pj fleck team that has time for you! You can make that mistake but pj fleck is simply one of the best coaches against the spread and Minnesota has been eying this game all summer 

Rebels had 5 wins last year against Louisville 4 wins. Just not sure how you can say Louisville is most unreliable. Game will reveal a lot of information for the rest of the season.
