A lot of blowouts One team starts winning the other one gives up. Empty stands. Teams who don't think they should stoop to a bowl game just don't even bother.

Wondering if these bowl games are even worth it anymore or if they should just go to an 8-team playoff.

i mean give me a break. if the patriots played the browns chances are you couldn't get a score like that, and these teams are supposedly evenly matched.

Bottom line is there are waaaay too many bowl games now. If you're 6 and 6 you can make a bowl game.

They either need to get rid of the playoffs and have about 10 bowl games total, ensuring only top teams, or skip to the playoffs altogether.
