I bet Oregons first half for 1k at 18.5. Safest bet of the game. Cal can not score even at home. I bet on the Washington @ Cal game under last week and watched Cal play at home. They are horrid. Their run defense is absolutely terrible! Theres no way IMHO that Cal can keep up with Oregons speed. Barner and co will run all thru them first half 42-7. Now after that I believe they will rest their starters but still I dont see Cal scoring more thn 7-10 2nd half. They scored 7 points in the first half AT HOME vs WASHINGTON last week. Thats not going to fly with a fast team like Oregon especially because Chip Kelly has so much faith in his offense that he will go for 4th and 3s every single time if it comes to it. They wont be able to stop the run at all. More than likely there wont even be more than 2-3 Oregon 4th downs in the second half. I like the -28 just because Cal sucks bad but Im on the 1st half large

oregon just played their biggest game of the year last year and have stanford on deck. major sandwich spot for them and most likely they just cruise to a 3 td win and kill time in the 2h. backup qb is a lot better than maynard as well which helps Cal backers as well.

I am a Cal alum and follow this team closely every year. This is by far the worst Cal team coached by Tedford. BY FAR. It sucks in all 3 phases of the game. Cal has pretty much sucked ass all year except for 3 inexplicable games: Washington St., UCLA, and Ohio St. Other than those 3 games, Cal has embarrassed themselves and anyone who ever attended that fine institution.
Cal's starting QB, Maynard, is out. Maynard sucks big D. His backup, Bridgeford, is even worse. More importantly, Cal's best player, WR Keenan Allen, is out. I felt like throwing up after watching them last week.

i like the ducks in the 1st half and 1st quarter but i won't be playing it. mariota is a very composed freshman, but this is the first opportunity at a let down game for them.
i'm sure he'll be fine and it'll be 15-3 or so after 1 36-10 or so after 2
but if it was 7-3, 24-6 after 1st half i wouldn't be surprised. tedford always throws tough defensive schemes at oregon. they had us beat two years ago, if not for cliff harris's magical punt return late.
and people can point to barner and DAT being electrifying. lamichael and harris were just as good then. but this cal team is far worse. oregon wins easily, but not sure they cover.

No Maynard! Any glimmer of hope they did have is gone... I think everybody is over thinking this game. Oregon is going to have their way with cal.. If Utah can carve it up, one could only wonder what Oregon will do..
