ALABAMA - a few final thoughts

The D was outstanding as expected,,Nick clearly out coached the hat who seemed to just let the whole game go by with out making any adjustments. The specail teams of LSU were nullified, and the QB play for bama was far superior, aided by an outstanding game plan. The 21-0 final is a good indication of the way the game played out. The tide dominated in all aspects, it was SWEET. Have a good day fellas.

LSU played bad because it was prescripted. Les Miles knew he was going to lose because all the money was on LSU. Vegas had a great night again, just like in 2007 when the Giant beat New England in the Super Bowl. I hope people understand that.

I truly think that we just witnessed one of the greatest defenses in college football HISTORY!

I agree with everyone but there is just one more thing to look at, nick is not liked by players and other coachs, he does not care about his players proven by what that miami player said about his actions there. NO parent will ever send his son to alabama especially wile he is coaching it will all come out in a few weeks or months.......

cmancone...You don't know what the hell you are talking about. I know 2 guys who work for him and one current player. They all love him because he gets them better everyday. I think I know what you are talking about and if so stuff like that happens. Its over with and taken care of. The guy is the best in the business! Seeing that he has the best class in the country I dont think he is having a hard time getting players.

This is a moronic statement... I know several players on the team, and they LOVE Nick Saban... Why in the hell do you think we have the #1 recruiting class in the nation, AGAIN?!

I was on Bama and I would have to agree....best defense I have ever seen in college football. Actually, maybe the best two? I have to admit I was hoping LSU would have at least gotten on the board and made a little more of a game of it for all the SEC haters. Another good win for Saban

Nice thoughts...one aspect I think was severly underrated was the play of sophomore Kevin Norwood.  Went Maze went out with that injury, this kid stepped up HUGE and made some great, athletic catches.  Talk about making the most of an opportunity.  Senior, well known player goes down, this kid took his opportunity and showed his team and the country how talented he is.  He helped stretch LSU'S D and helped McCarron by adjusting on some bad throws and making some athletic plays.

Obviously the D played outstanding, but second to the Defense Norwood was the real star who stepped up when nobody expected him to.

defenses were unreal, on both sides of the ball, how many NFL players will come out of those defenses? While it was frustrating to watch the offenses struggle, the defenses and especially Alabama's, were amazing.

excellent point--have to say I was worried about my bama play before Maze even limped off, you could tell be the way he pulled up short on the return that he would have a hard time making it back to the gridiron - Norwood was indeed a BEAST --

Les Miles is still an awful coach as expected, everyone was giving that moron way to much credit. He has NO idea what to do when coaching against a team with anywhere near equal talent.
