Leaning Oklahoma st. -14.  Any thoughts.

OK State will ROLL in this one. Look for a 3 or 4 touchdown win for them.

Me as well, these two programs are like night and day. However oklahoma st has the IM A MAN COACH.

im on wash st.  

ok st brings back 1 o line and 2 d line. 8 starters in all... same # as wash st brings back on their off n def lines.

definately not saying id rather have wash st. players, just think ok st. inexperience is being under rated.

i really wanted the under until i looked deeper at ok st. hell i dont know if they can stop anybody right now either.

These are two teams that may have been night and day last year but have both sinced moved in opposite directions coming into this year.  Oka St. wont be nearly as good as last year and Wash St. will be a much improved team.  I'd lay off this one personally

oklahoma state is capable of covering that at home but i wouldnt  bet on it.  they are also capable of losing this game outright at home...lol. new o looks really pathetic as of last week...and the playmakers from last season are gone. as a huge fan of ok state i am very concerned about this game and just hoping for a win...and i know i am not alone among osu fans. i hope one line posts saying things like...osu gonna roll by 4 tds...dont push u into a bad play for a lot of money. i have seen at least 4 threads this last week with pretty much this same title talking about only this game...and a couple of them had good posts with valid points for betting either side. here is hoping ostate rolls them up...bit i would bet the other side if i was forced to bet it. gl.

I wouldn't be too concerned with O State's Defense.  While they are replacing 7 starters from last years much improved D(ranked 31st, if I remember correctly), numerous reports from camp this fall say that there will be little drop off, with this being the fastest Defense ever to line up for the Cowboys.  Throw in the fact that they return Orie Lemon, 2008 Defensive MVP, and this unit will be as solid as last years by mid-season.

On offense, they are obviously replacing some big names, Zac Robinson, Dez Bryant, and Russell Okung to name a few.  While they will be missed dearly, Kendall Hunter returns to form after an injury kept him hobbled most of last season.  He was the Big 12 RB of the year in 2008, and his speed and agility will be a huge bonus for OC Holgerson's new spread attack.  Brandon Weeden is no rookie as the 26 year old spent 6 years playing Minor League Baseball.  His maturity and big time arm also have Holgorson smiling.  The biggest concern I have right now are at the Recieiver position.  Hubert Anyiam and Justin Blackmon are the leading receivers from last year, but they will be pushed by soph Tracy Moore who is poised to have a breakout year after dropping over 20 pounds to regain his speed and quickness.

I'm making the Pokes a 2 unit play as I see them shaking off the jitters in the second half and winning by 21+ for an easy cover.

Ok State shold cover this one.  Wash St just doesnt have the horses to keep up in this one.  they are on the road and the talent gap is big even with this not being one of Ok State better teams of recent years

i agree that we have some talented players taking over for the guys who left...and i agree that by mid season we will prolly be somewhere close to last years d...oklahoma state that is. maybe first game out they struggle a little bit tho? from all reports guys...and i get all of em i can find being an ostate fan...the o blows right now. all this talent lost from our d yet the 2nd team d can make the ostate o look as pathetic as they do. i hope 90% of the country is correct and the cowboys roll them up...i am happy as a fan and you all look smart. i just have a bad feeling that this is that "trap" game this week and oklahoma state will either struggle to win or lose outright. tons of people losing a lot of money and me pissed off because my boys got beat by one of the worst teams in the country. hope i am wrong as i am not betting it either way. just remember that no matter how smart we think we are the linesmakers do this for a living and prolly know more than all of us together. no reason for them to have to set this line low to get action on both sides...i mean it is not like wazzou has a huge fan base betting on them no matter what like notre dame where they need to inflate it. just saying...and i hope im wrong. gl guys.

Do you really think Wash st. is going in Stillwater and competing against Oklahoma st.  your absolutely right, they did lose alot of players but their offensive scheme is going to be too much for washington st.

thanks brick...i guess. it is kind of a no win situation i have figured out from past seasons. u get people to look twice at what u believe is a bad bet...but then okstate covers u got people pissed off or calling u an idiot. other side of it is that most people will bet it anyways...but i get no satisfaction out of being right if i am. for sure not one of those who would come back and so i told u so...or ever even bring it up again honestly. anyways...i just think it is a bad bet win or lose. my opinion tho and i have been wrong many times...and i am sure there are many left to come lol.

Why?? Gundys recruiting has gone great, there are very few seniors, and lots of highly recruited young guys playing THIS year. Why would they be worse next year????? Not to mention they have a redshirt junior 26 year old Qb THIS year. What are you smoking???
