33-17 vs Florida. Ok nice I respect Florida’s defense but still doesn’t cover 24
36-14 vs cincy ok but still no cover of 24 and mich was -32 here
29-13 vs Air Force and mich was -23 here
28-10 vs purdue.
10-14 loss vs Mich St. Wtf
Barely beat Indiana 27-20
Got demolished by Penn State and scored 13

Defense will need to score to cover IMO. Will probably shy away from the game because I am mush when betting on Rutgers games no matter which side. Can also see Harbaugh up 20 drawing up a flea flicker in the 4th just because.

is barely AVG 300 YPG - They have a much worse offense than Michigan and the top 5 MICH "D" is only allowing 264 YDS
per game - even after the PENN ST debacle............Rutgers simply wont be able to move the ball giving the Michigan offense a lot of short fields to work with........
There was a lot of high expectations for Michigan this year which is why everybody is under the impression they are a bad team this season - they are not.........This line is about right where it should be..........I think they come out this week and blow out a much less talented Rutgers team.
I also see a few turnovers and possibly defensive score for Michigan Bad spot for Rutgers here at the Big House.

Hard to tell how Michigan will react after being taken to the woodshed last week...may inspire them, or they could still be licking their wounds.. Regardless, their offense is stagnant, and there is no way I could wager my hard earned money on their offense even scoring 24 points, much less, covering a 24 point spread.

I like Mich. I think Rutgers is a total sucker bet. If they don't cover 24 here, then all that does is show you how terrible their back up is because with Speight in here no doubt they win by 40.

I’m under the impression that if Rutgers finds the end zone one time they cover, maybe even one FG may do it. We will see

When I see a game with a line that surprises me, I either leave it alone or bet against my initial feelings. I expected something like -17.Many years of gambling has taught me this. It is either Michigan or a PASS. Probably a pass.

Speight wasn't much better than okorn. His stats put him solidly in the bottom half of D-I qb's when he went out. As far as judging Rutgers on their last 3-4 years, you need to remember they changed HC's last year.........& I wouldn't call Michigan a top level team right now. They may just be playing out the season since they're not going anywhere. Not saying I'd bet Rutgers either.........just some counterpoints.
