All respect USC. Tough year.
The Irish were in your place not long ago...these things come in cycles. You never know in this game -remember 1970 and 1974 (wish I could!). It seems like USC has been the spoiler for the Irish far more times than the other way around. Granted....those years were usually with The Silver Fox or The Poodle. And yes...it IS a night game, which always benefits Troy - the voodoo is undeniable.
I tend to agree with you on this number, but cannot unload big - too much respect for the rivalry when this game was the de facto National Championship - to drink the kool-aid. Put a better coach - hell put Herm at Night there, and it might be more competitive.

This is such a punch in the face to Notre Dame. I'm a fellow SC fan as well and there is no way that SC will cover. I realize this is a rivalry game and anything can happen and they are playing at the coliseum, but USC will not feel like a home field advantage. Either the stadium will be half empty or it will be full of green and I am taking the ladder in that it will feel fully green especially with what's at stake with ND.
Half of USC points are from those stupid 50/50 deep passes that are thrown to Pittman and ND will be on the lookout for that. USC can't run the ball either. I know it will be very unlikely, but I will not be surprised if SC is shutout the first three quarters and will just get a TD in mop up duty. That is my opinion though from watching both teams all year.
No way the line should be this low.

This year USC will not derail the Irish. They lost a great OLB a few games ago and the defense can't stop a good offense.
Hope you guys win it all. GL

So far, QB Daniels has thrown more TDs than INT in only 5 of the 10 games.

Oh absolutely, but this years play calling has been complete crap. Yeah the start of the season, the run game was doing okay; not great but okay. Now since the Utah loss, teams have figured out that without the run game they are having JT throwing it deep and hoping the receivers get it. Perfect example would be against Cal. Supposedly rumors coming in from the program this evening is that Helton will be coming back next year. I'll know more tomorrow, but Swann for some reason does not want to get rid of this guy.

Swanny is joined at the hip with The Deer...so he doesn't dare fire him. They just want to stay put, collect huge $$$$. If you're not aware, USC has HUGE internal problems that have nothing to do with football or athletics. Swann is just hiding in the corner, using the chaos to his advantage for another year.
