Oregon is a completely different team since that game.  They almost lost to Washington State the week before.
Main reason why was multiple walk-ons on the offensive line and allowing Mariota getting pressure every play with no blitzing. 
Look at what they did since offensive linemen have came back.  No letdowns for this Oregon team that learned an early season lesson.

But no doubt Arizona makes the playoffs if they beat Oregon.

Have to disagree.  Would give nod to add Baylor/TCU.  But, I personally think Oregon is playing just as good if not better than anyone.  Their QB, who seems to have been at Oregon for 23 years, is playing the best out of any college QB in the last 10 years at least.  The kid has accounted for 47 TD's and only thrown 2 INTs.  That's insane.

yes baylor or tcu....I think oregon wins big arizona lost a good reciever dui charge and oregon is playing great football

They would also need 2 of these teams to lose

TCU, Baylor and Ohio State

Nah, Pac 12 wouldn't be left out.

Arizona should move up to #8 in tonight's CFP rankings.

That would set them up well to move up to #4 if they beat Oregon again.

Oregon playing Arizona again is the best scenario that could of happened for Oregon.  It is hard to beat a team twice in 1 year.   If Oregon played UCLA or AState, they could have taken them for granted and have a let down. Expect a motivated Ducks team.  Also I can't trust Anu Solomon in a big game.  He is a RS freshman and IMO he is not that great of a QB.

Yep, beating a team twice in the same year is very tough. Just wanted to point out that the Pac 12 wouldn't be left out if it does happen.

a 11-2 Mizzou.....who would be 3-5 pt favorite over Zona....
  *might not get left out if they beat Bama

BUT.....Zona would be a dog to about 20+ teams.....including 6-6 Arkansas...and would only get in if 2 or more favored teams lose
  *They probably (should).....and I agree .....as with Mizzou ....but most likely won't

Mizzou would not be a favorite over Arizona, that's just silly talk. Even funnier is the idea that Arizona would be a dog to Arkansas.

Fact is, a 2-loss Bama would have a better shot of getting in before a 2-loss Mizzou.

Mizzou lost at home to Indiana. And also lost at home 34-0 to Georgia, while looking unimpressive against several middle tier SEC teams. They are out regardless.

You might want to look past that Indiana game and look at their last 4 games if you want to assess how
a team might perform , especially on defense.

Just keeping things realistic when it comes to attaining a playoff spot. I really respect what Mizzou has accomplished in the SEC since joining, but let's be honest..

2 horrible losses at home while also being unimpressive against bottom to mid-tier SEC teams (Vandy, UK, A&M, UT, Arky) will not earn you a spot.

AZ at Oregon won. Why would AZ not play even better on a neutral site? When AZ wins. They will have given the #2 team both of its losses. Easy entry for AZ into the playoffs at that point. 

Alabama rarely plays on the road. When they do, its not the same team. Alabama heavy favs all year to make the playoffs. Great time to wipe out all Alabama future wagers. Mizzou covers and if they lose its within a FG.

Mark that, Arizona moved up to #7. So committee has now made it impossible for the Pac 12 to be left out.

Beating Oregon again would easily move Arizona up 3 additional spots to #4.

personally.....I'm not here to WASTE time on hypotheticals.....and rather focus on match-ups / value......

FACTS:

Gold Sheet (most accurate usually) has them at # 24

Sagarin (not a fav of mine but useful) > #23

Don Best Linesmakers (some of top pros in Vegas) has them at #29

Steele #16 or so

Payne (not bad) has them by far the highest at #11....

I have them at 20 or so.......

$$      when establishing power ratings >>  point-spreads.....I have found it is infinitely more helpful to use well researched numbers....than to pull them directly out of my A-S-S .....fine as it may be........... but whatever works for you..........
