First, I am an Auburn alumni and fan. Second, I like money.
This game is a HUGE no play for me as far as a side is concerned. I think Auburn crushes MSU. This is the same team that beat the bulldogs down last year except with a better, more athletic QB. The bulldogs lost their offense from last year, 1300+ yrd rusher Dixon. Why is this line only 2? I was expecting 6.5-7.5. Does Vegas consider this a trap with Clemson on deck for Auburn? With MSU being a divisional game, I don't see Auburn looking Ahead. Everyone knows Home SEC dog on Thursdays are $$. I just can't play MSU.
I may consider an average play on the over 54.

Auburn lost a huge part of their offense in Ben Tate. Auburn struggles against SEC Opponents and on the road. I am with Mississippi St getting the points. I think we have a 33-30 win but Auburn doesn't have enough firepower for this game.
Mississippi St will stop the rushing of Auburns QB Cameron Newton

trackem -whats happening buddy? I haven't seen you around lately, I hope all is well. I actually like State in this game, thinking that the Auburn D is still not where it should be. I think State will be much improved, no longer being one deminsional, will cause alot of problems for Auburn. Good luck to you this year, and to your Tigers.

Point on, the D is no where near where it needs to be. However, the D was very vanilla and ASU has a new OC that (the coaches claim) they knew nothing about. Auburn knows what they are getting with Mullen and MSU. It is odd because if this line was where I thought it would be, I would more than likely have bet it. I think I like the Tide this week. Also, Vandy and SC. Your thoughts?

I'll throw my .02 cents in. I'm a recent grad of Mississippi State, and I'm like you, I like money.
I don't know if I'd put my money on MSU, just for the mere fact that they can be so inconsistent. I know they havn't had a chance to show consistency yet, but all of the players who played well against an extremely weak Memphis team may come out and play horrible.
We took a big hit with Dixon graduating, but to follow him we have some really talented kids, Robert Elliot, Vick Ballard (Juco Transfer) and LaDarious Perkins. That Perkins kid is going to be insane. He was so fun to watch at the Memphis game.
We have probably one of the most talented receiving corps in the NCAA with Bumphis, Heavens and Leon Berry. Bumphis will be an eventual 1st round pick, and I'm sure he'll win a few awards before his time is up at MSU.
Our OL and DL are insane this year. Lots of returning starters. Pernell McPhee on the DL is a manchild and Derek Sherrod on the OL is a projected 1st round pick and he is every bit as talented as an OL that we've had in a long time.
There will be A LOT of points scored in this game from both teams, so I feel like the OVER is a safe play, but the game itself could go either way. If the Bulldawgs come out and shut down Cam Newton, MSU will win by 7-10. If newton plays like he did last week, AU will win by 7-14. It's going to be an interesting game for sure.
Maybe somebody will get a creative hair in their head and put up the picture of Cam Newton ringing a cowbell at last years OleMiss/MSU game on the big screen...that'd be hilarious.
