Let’s talk Texas vs Arkansas…

GOY line a few weeks ago was Texas -3 & now this number is all the way up to -7. 

You have to think, what made this number move?

1. Texas’s domination vs #25 ranked opponent in Louisiana & Arkansas struggles in the 1H vs Rice. 
2. Texas is purely heavy public betting team. No doubt this line will move heavily toward the Horns. 
3. Arkansas history L3 years..bottom of the barrel team in the SEC…19’ 3-7, 18’ 2-10, 18’ 2-10…7-27 L3 Years! Texas has always slowly progressed over the L3 years…Now with, Steve Sarkisian taking over from #1 team Bama, great things should happen in ‘21…especially w/ news of getting accepted to the SEC. 

Some things to factor…

-When you think Texas, you think heavy, big, strong kids. The SEC or what Arkansas has faced is that plus SPEED. 

-Arkansas was 2-10 LY, but they did play Georgia well in the 1H and nearly beat Auburn and LSU.

-They return 9/10 starters and 2nd yr Coach Pittman who’s gotten a lot of praises from current NFL players. Great @ recruiting, superb Oline Coach…personally a very intelligent, detail oriented & humble human being that players will work hard for. 

- Arkansas will be sold out. Night game vs Texas’s FR QB. Definitely will be some pressure on this young man.

- Last but not least, watched the DLine vs Louisiana’s DLine and Arkansas D is definitely step up..effort, aggressiveness was definitely more recognizable. Plus they return NG Ridgeway to clog the middles. Offensively, even though Arkansas is more of a run style offense, I think their Oline will give the running game plenty of opportunities. QB Jefferson has good legs & makes smart choices. It’ll be a slow churning style of game for Arkansas that will open up opportunities for the WR to get big plays down field.

Old southwest conference rivalry game...Hogs at home or no bet for me.

WPS!!!  That's Woooo Pig Soooie for all the rookies out there!!!  lol  I already bet Arkansas ML early in the week when it jumped well above 2-1 and have the possibility to win several grand if the Hogs play like I know they can.

Dirtbags hit on an important point that can't be stressed enough...how is the redshirt freshman QB (Card) for the Horns going to react with 80K rabid, feral Razorback fans screaming at him every time Fexas snaps the ball????  I dare say it will be a bit different than the cozy experience that the kid had at home last weekend...lol

DWR Razorback Stadium hasn't been filled to SRO capacity in probably a decade so this will be the Hogs National Championship Game for 2021.  Also, the Hogs will want to show their possible future SEC little brother how things are done this side of the Red River.

If the Horns are able to come outta Fayettenam Saturday night with the "W", they will have earned it!  I don't see this as a runaway win for them because Briles/Odom will coach the offense/defense up for the Hogs to keep the players and fans in the game.

Definitely like the ML risk. I don’t feel Arkansas will let this game get out sight like Louisiana did….listening to some player interviews and I’m sold on them making every possession count like it’s their last. 

Also starting to really like Pittman. Reminds me a lot like a college version of Belichick but less the attitude.

LB that is quite the writeup, you make excellent points for Arkansas. This game jumped out to me as red flag for Texas with that -7 line and your points absolutely solidified it.    I’ll definitely be on the Hogs
