This past Saturday this strategy Round Robin went 10-0 on 2team teasers & 1-0 on a test 4 teamer... It even went 1-0 in NFL yesterday....

..." there was a thread this past week that looked at the last 5 years on 6 pt teasers. The Basic Strategy tries to tease and capture the "whole" 3 & 7.
The data found that:
Road Dawgs +1.5-+2.5 teased up 6pts won 74,5%
Home Dawgs +1.5-+2.5 teased up 6pts won 68.6%
Home Favs -7.5 to -8.5 teased down 6pts won 79.1%
Teasers are best played very close to game time to get the best line manipulations...."
.....so a quick look at current lines...for this next week
Many will fall out and others may show as Vegas moves our lines....
122 HD Syracuse +2.5
124 HD Virginia +1.5
136 HD E Mich +2.5
156 HD Wash +1.5
164 HF Ok St -7.5

RD/HF ....none at this time". I'm not quite understanding the combinations you've given here. HF/HF(?) (If there's only one pt. spread line for "HF"). Wouldn't the combo's be: RD/HD, RD/HF & HD/HF?....or I could just be "asleep at the wheel", again!!

the only trouble i have had doing this willy nilly without capping is that even if both games (assuming 2) are a 70% shot to cover - and assuming no correlation between the 2 - you are still looking at 49% for both to hit - and therefore - with juice you get killed long run

the whole purpose of teasers is to create line value, by moving off the key numbers of 3 and 7 in the direction of the perceived advantage. you dont have to lay extra juice to get off the key numbers, which makes up for the fact you have to win 2 games to make even money.

Hey Gasman.....been around covers for close to 10 yrs, but never post....didn't have a clue as to my username or password so I had to create a new one. Been betting on football for years...cap my own games, but like to come on here and get some input from some of the cappers that are pretty sharp ( AMD, Rush, RJSizzle, Vanzack,Boom Boom, JimmydaFreak, GNFR, BE expert and probably another 6 or 8 guys) If I'm on a game and they are on it too, it gives me a little extra confidence and I usually step my bet up. I very rarely bet teasers or parlays....I'm an old timer and have always thought of them as sucker bets, but your strategy sounded interesting so I decided to give it a shot today. In the early games I hooked up Mich ( HF -8 teased down to -2) along with Syracuse ( HD + 1.5 teased up to + 7.5 ) Also took E Mich ( HD +2.5 teased up to 8.5) along with Miami ( RD + 1.5 teased up to + 7.5) Was actually lucky to win the Mich game, but I finally caught a break and I'll take it. Didn't really check out the other early games but I think the only early loser was NC ( HF - 8.5) On the 3:30 games I took Neb ( HF -8.5...local ) along with N.Mex ( HD + 2.5 teased up to +8.5 ) Got lucky with Neb also when they took away that TD from PSU near the end of the game. Think the only loser was Ill (HD +2.5) in the 3: 30 games. There were actually quite a few games that either opened or moved within the parameters, but at game time fell out ( and they would have won) Ok St, NC St, Vandy, Buffalo, Washington, SD St, CSU, Troy, N. Texas ( hope I'm getting this right...it's 6:00 AM and I have a hangover) Hit my 3 teasers and had flat bets on A&M and GA (no losers for a change) so thanks a lot Gasman. Just curious if this works for the NFL as well? At this point, the only games I see fitting are Balt ( HF -7.5 ) NO ( HD +2.5) and Philly (HD +2.5)
