First off I'm pulling for the Irish.. Grew up watching them and have always had an interest .. Not my team but interested for sure..
This game screams Under.. But ND has not faced anyone like Bama so I think past stats should be thrown out.. The only team close was PITT but they are no Bama.. The Tide will pound the ball and wear down that defense IMO aka what PITT did .. I would have taken Bama if ND didn't have a play maker at QB.. He finds ways to win.. It may not be pretty but he can make plays with his feet.. He will have to move out the pocket to win and he is very capable.. He is no Johnny Football but I think he has some of the same similarities ..
So I'm going against the paper stats.. I think both defenses will give up some points.. It may not be up and down the field but I don't see this being a FG game either .. Bama will score but the question is " will the Irish " and I say yes ..
