Man, I took a beating last week! It was my first week to post my plays and the first week that I lost money.
Coincidence.......I damn sure hope so!!!
I decided to pare it down to 5-7 games instead of my usual 10-12. Hopefully I'll weed out the bad plays and not the good ones.
Here we go.......
Kentucky +3.5 @ South Carolina - I know Spurrier has a great Defense and they are playing at home, but Kentucky's Offense has been steamrolling teams all year. I look for Woodson and Company to put up 27-35 points and don't think the Cocks can keep up with their freshman QB. Give me the points!!!
Alabama -11 vs Houston - This is just what the Alabama needs after two tough losses, a sub-par team coming to Tuscaloosa. I see the Tide D stepping up and John Parker Wilson to get back on track with a good showing before jumping back into SEC play. I'm thinking a 17-21 point win for Saban.
Georgia +2 @ Tennessee - We all know Richt is golden on the road, and Fulmer is on the hot seat in Knoxville. Tennessee needs this win, but Georgia will win the battle of field position with tons of rushing yards and the occaisional big pass play to start up the FireFulmer.com message boards!
Oklahoma -11 vs Texas (Dallas) - I was really hoping for a Texas win last week to bring this line down, but I'm still pretty confident in laying up to 14. Texas has been less than stellar all year and with McCoy banged up, I can see the Sooners putting the clamps on the Longhorns defensively. Last week was a minor hiccup for Bradford and the boys, I mean Malcomb Kelly didn't have 1 catch, WTF? OU rolls in Big D!!!!
Tulsa -3 @ UTEP - Coach Graham was PISSED last week with Tulsa's ugly 8 point win vs UAB! I look for the Golden Hurricane to right the ship with a big road win this week. Paul Smith will throw all over UTEP's weak secondary and get out to an early lead, never looking back. I'd go moneyline if my local offered it.
Still doing my homework on a few more. After all, can't have two losing weeks in a row.
Give me some feedback fellas!!!

Looking at Oklahoma State +7 @ Texas A&M - I don't think either defense can stop anyone in this game. The Aggies will run all day on the Pokes, but OSU has enough weapons to put a balanced attack on A&M's D. This one should come down to the final possession, and the Cowboys may win outright. If Fresno State can take them into overtime, so can OSU!
Looking at Ohio State -7 @ Purdue - I wasn't that impressed by Purdue last week, and this could be the game that puts Ohio State in the running for the national title. I think the Buckeyes will come out and play a mistake free game to win and get the cover.
I really want to play Auburn -7 vs Vandy, but I'm a little afraid of a let down after the win over Florida. Any opinions???

Clemson +5.5 vs. Virginia Tech - Can Clemson bounce back after failing to capitalize on numerous opportunities last week against Georgia Tech. Will the same inept offense show up for VT that went to LSU. Young QB's have a difficult time with aggressive defense's, and are forced into mistakes. Still digging into this one, any help would be much appreciated.
Wyoming -3 vs TCU - TCU has shown new life after the return of RB Aaron Brown, and picked up two wins. Will that be enough of a spark to get by a well-rested Wyoming squad that has only one loss, 24-14 @ Boise State? I like the Cowboys to win here and cover and stake their claim as front-runners in the MWC.
Would love some feedback from anyone with an opinion on any of these games!

I am on Wyoming -3. Havent seen many teams come in Wyoming and knock of the cowboys. I was not that impressed with TCU last week. They let a poor Colorado St. team hang around in a game they should have cruised in. BOL

Nice ticket, only opposite on Kentucky/SC. VT offense unlikely to do much against Clemson D, probably 10-13 or similar to trip to BC last year. Also decent revenge spot, lean towards Clemson or under.
