I love my Sooners but I follow OSU closely as well. I think Gundy is a good coach and we are about to see if he becomes a great coach. If he can win 9 or more games with an 18 year old freshman QB - well then damn. OSU doesn't have the best talent, but they do develop players. But winning 9 games with a freshman at QB is daunting. Look at OU - remember Rhet Bomar's freshman year? What about Landry Jones' freshman year? Look at Texas and how they did with their young QB? I hope your right rated91.
But I can see you losing this bet too.
Savannah St. - Win
@ Arizona - ( true freshman QB on road LATE AT NIGHT) - Loss
louisiana - Win
Texas - Loss
@ Kansas - Win
Iowa St - ( revenge game ) - Win
TCU - ( this could be a toss but OSU is starting to hit stride ) - Win
@ Kansas St. - ( back to reality with fr. qb on the road) - Loss
West Virginia - ( can the fr qb keep up scoring wise ) - Loss
Texas Tech - Win
@ OU - Loss
@ Baylor - Win

there are worse road teams than WV....7-3 SU last couple years including 20-14 loss at LSU...although OSU likely favored and WV could be looking ahead to home game with OU
4 wins against Savannah St, Louisiana, Kansas, Iowa St, 1 loss against OU....then it comes down to needing to win 4 of 7 against Ariz, Tex, K-St, WV, TCU, Tex Tech, Baylor....OSU is a 9.5 favorite (5 dimes) week 2 vs Ariz and should be at least that against TT...typically matchup well against Baylor...then at least 1 of 4 vs Tex, TCU, WV, K-St...even if lose against BU or TT they could offset going 2-2 against those other 4

easy to forget that Weeden threw 24 passes in mop up in '09 heading into '10 as new starter (34 TD) and people were wondering who the hell replaces Zac Robinson....of course Holgorsen system was also key to the '10 turnaround

Weeden's age was a big factor in how well he did his 1st yr,
most guys in yr 1, especially frosh and sophs, don't fare so well,
there's a reason the number was set at 7.5.
the guys that set those numbers are not idiots,
@ Ariz much tougher than you think as wildcats have a kid who has starting experience taking over at QB this yr
