If the trend with the portal and opt outs continues in the coming years it seems like the only real difference maker is who is playing qb
your basically betting on if the backup is going to have a good game or not.
KU backup played good, unc backup played terrible, usc was unknown and the kid showed out. A&M he broke his arm but 3rd string played the game of his career and still no cover. Smu back up shat the bed. Miami 3rd string qb should have seen that he wasn’t going to play good. Now Oklahoma back up qb is the real deal.
There was defiantly a ton of value this year already and will be curious to see if it stays like that moving forward

I think we just need to stick with the playoff teams moving forward..Thank goodness they will become 8. Those are the only games that should be bet on, those teams are full go. You cant get a handle on a back up QB if hes going to play good or bad, and now the Oklahoma back up just threw 2 picks one pick 6 and another INT with Arizona ready to score again

Yeah, it's a crapshoot. But it's fun to play when it's the holidays and many people get some time off. Not a time to go big or anything. It's basically like week 18 of the NFL.
But some coaches (like Lincoln Riley) can make anyone look good.
Look how much better Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix played after they transferred. So coaching is another factor.
