Boise St. { this years Penn St. }

Question

I was looking at Boise&#x27;s schedule and I am trying to find where they can lose. Like Iowa last year, who is gonna save us this year. Sorry but I do not want to see Boise go unbeaten and somehow land in the Championship game. I think they would get hammered by a properly motivated opponet in that game.&#xD;&#xA;I see two games were they could go down. Their next two. At Tulsa next week and then at Hawaii the following game. They will not lose at home in that league.&#xD;&#xA;Let&#x27;s go Tulsa October 14th.

I dont see Boise getting into the Championship game over a 1 loss SEC or Big 12 team.

I want them taken out so it doesn&#x27;t get to that.

I agree that they probably wouldn&#x27;t compete with a major conference foe in the title game, but I can&#x27;t help but remember what happened in the Orange Bowl a few years back...that&#x27;s why they play them.  Let the best team win.  Still think a playoff system could implemented.  There are plenty of good ideas out there.

Im so glad that Penn State lost last weekend, they are such garbage and they are in the Big ten where they should not have a problem getting team on their schedule.....Boise st however, no one wants them on their schedule for obvious reasons.....No team like USC, Oklahoma, etc wants to lose to a team like this.   &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Boise State wont make it to the championship game, their rating will not be high enough even if they go undefeated.  they can get a BCS bowl though

eyedog - you really dont want to see Boise St. in the Final game. they deserve to be in it at least once. they keep throwing teams in to play Boise St. and boise wins. going undefeated a couple times. probley again this yr. they deserve a shot.. win or lose

I disagree wholeheartedly. Boise St is the real deal! I think they are a top 4-5 team in the country versus anyone on a neutral field. Granted, they don&#x27;t play top notch foes week in and week out. They would lose a game maybe 2, even if they were playing in the PAC-10 or Big Ten. That being said, you can&#x27;t penalize them for not being able to book another BCS school because it&#x27;s not their fault. Besides Georgia and Oregon nobody else has wanted to play them over the last 4-5 years. I know the past has no bearing on now, but they beat Oklahoma with AP. Utah went in and smacked the shit out of an Alabama team that many thought was the best team in the country last year. These good programs like Utah, BYU, and especially Boise St can play with anyone in the country. They will go undefeated, but they won&#x27;t get a chance to play for the title even though they will likely be #1 or even #2 in the polls by the time the final BCS standings come out. Texas will lose to Oklahoma. Bama, LSU and Florida will all lose as well. Then you will have a lone undefeated team snubbed in favor of two big name schools with losses. Why not give a school like Boise St who has been undefeated 3-4 times in the last decade a shot.

Unless if there are a lot of 2 loss teams in the hunt, Boise can't get in. It is decided with the BCS rankings, not really the polls, so there are too many weak opponents for Boise which will hurt them. In 2007 a 2 loss LSU team got in over an unbeaten Hawaii team, nobody really complained, but this Boise team is much better than hawaii was at that point. If Oregon keeps winning though, that will look good for Boise. How good is Boise though? They destroyed Oregon, who destroyed Cal, who will beat USC this week. Impressive.

It is impossible for a non Big Six conference team to get to the Championship game. It will NEVER happen! The rules and the people who have the "say so" will not allow it.

The actual BCS poll will crush Boise&#x27;s strength of schedule.  I would be surprised to see them in the top 10 of that poll.  It isn&#x27;t fair, but the powers that be won&#x27;t allow them to be in the title game unless every other team has 2 losses.

Florida -7&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Boise goes undefeated there in the National Championship Game.&#xD;&#xA;4 years in a row they have proven to be winners.&#xD;&#xA;Boise would cover against florida, just my thoughts.

The focus needs to be on TCU, they will jump Boise if they go undefeated with wins over Clemson, BYU, and Virginia on the road and a win over Utah at home.  Plus, TCU is the better team and beat Boise St. head to head in the Poinsiettia Bowl last year 17-16.

Houston will lose to Mississippi St. or Tulsa on the road so it&#x27;s all a moot point.  TCU would stifle that run-n-shoot offense of Houston....
