Haven't seen much discussion about it. Line is UCF -3 right now. BYU doesn't have Taysom Hill, as he is out with a broken leg. They went down the shitter when the backup came in last week throwing 3 picks in a loss to Utah State, so most seem to think BYU doesn't have a shot. They still have a pretty good defense though. UCF seems to be getting a little better every week, but still struggle on offense a bit. Both defenses should be good in this game. I'm leaning towards the under in this which is at 45 right now. My thing about this game, is what happens with the backup BYU QB, now that he has had a week of practice? What is everyone else thinking about this game?

I forgot to add, I'm 15-17 on the season. Started out the first couple weeks pretty terrible at 1-9. Then got it going a bit after that going 14-8 since then.

I see what you mean, but wouldn't you say Texas on the road, and also Virginia could be close to what UCF has? Maybe not statistically, but those are 2 major conference teams that BYU destroyed.

Texas has a good defense. If you look at that first half, it was a close game.
The problem with Texas is their offense struggles to string together long drives, leaving their above-average defense to slow a bit due to short rest, which helps when you have an athletic QB like T. Hill.
Look at Baylor. Texas and Baylor were neck and neck in the first half. Then Baylor was able to extend their lead - which is exactly what happened vs. BYU.
BYU has a good defense, solid run game. This game seems like a pass to me. Feel like the line is exactly where it should be. UCF didn't impress me much vs. Houston last week - and honestly they should have lost that game if not for a fumble at the 1 yard line by the Houston QB. Coin flip. Still see a close game between the two and if BYU pulled it out, it wouldn't surprise me at all.

BYU backup had only two full practices to prepare for this game. Today they flew to Florida. Expect BYU to play a conservative offense as CF has little offense. Battle of field position and who makes first mistake. With that in mind I'm taking 1st half Under.

BYU beat Virginia because of turnovers, so really Virginia lost that game , they owned BYU in Utah and if Texas had any offense that game would have turned out differently, they just came out in the third and had no idea what was going on,all this being said BYU is way overrated and although they have pulled out the wins which is what counts this team should be 2-3.
The wins against Texas and Virginia came in the second half, they fell apart in the first half against Utah St and the end against Houston, the only team they really controlled was Connecticut.
BYU are not a first half team and they couldn't get it together against Utah St. without Hill who is a beast and it's unfortunate that he got hurt again, but without him they are not good.
The past 3 teams BYU has played they've given up 25, 33 and 35 points meanwhile UCF has given up 12, 7 and 38 to Missouri, 24 in the second half on the road. These two teams are heading in the opposite directions with BYU getting worse and UCF getting better, this game could be closer than I think because BYU may still feel like they can compete.
I think the best play here is UCF first half -1
UCF -3 Over 45
UCF 34 - 13

I think that BYU is a mature group (avg. age+2 0ver opponents) MATURITY
BYU coach Bronco Mendenhall has faith in his players to rally behind Stewart. With this particular team under these circumstances, I’m excited for this team because the more adversity we face the better team we become- we have pulled together and rely on each guy to do their job. So I believe in them
