Can LA MONROE keep it up?

Question

How can Baylor be favored against a team that has proven itself for the last two weeks against: #8 Arkansas, and another SEC team, Auburn? You have to wonder if they're for real - why aren't they favored. I have heard the expression: "It's a gift from Vegas...", but I have never known Vegas to be known as the "giving" place.

That said...wouldn't LA Monroe be the obvious choice here? Why would anyone be crazy enough to pick a Baylor team that doesn't have RG3?

Am I the only one smelling a trap in a spotlight game???

LA Monroe....why can&#x27;t they keep it up? Friday night primetime...Baylor has everything to lose while Monroe doesn&#x27;t. I love the underdog here.

I like ulm...baylor is on their first road game dont wont be too comfortable...ulm will try their be to  prove that their last two wins were by fluke.

I respecfully disagree dawgprint. I know BU doesn't have RGIII but they have the 2nd/3rd best receivers in the Big 12 and oh yeah... you are severly underestimating Nick Florence.

Just be careful with your pick. Remember Coach Briles knows how to groom his QB's (Kolb, Keenum, RGIII, now Nick).

If BU doesn't cover, it won't be because of the QB.

auburn offense is horrible, so any team with a decent offense can keep up with them and they didnt win that game btw...also, arky was in control until their qb went out and have an idiot for coach, once again any good offense could get into that game, arky d is not good.

Baylor d is no world beater but their offense is legit and ULM has shown they give up points. I dont think Baylor lets off in this one and cruises. Florence for Baylor has a lot of experience from ly so they should be fine. Also, there will be no taking this game lightly either that could have favored ULM.

People continue to rank on Arkansas and Auburn....ULM played both of them on the road and should honestly be 2-0. Played tough either way though. And any way you look at it, they are still 2 SEC teams with SEC recruited athletes.

Baylor on the other hand has played SMU and SamfrickenHouston State. SMU is garbage and lost to A&M 48-3. Sam Houston State was beating Baylor at one point 20-10. This is the same Sam Houston St that plays teams like Incarnate Word (real name) in week 1.

This game is at home. Under the lights. And ULM is getting points. Sign me up.

ULM wins straight up.
