You're probably right about me being a dickhead, but that's funny, I don't care who you are.

Notwithstanding me making light of the situation, I in no way condone vandalism of any sort.  I don't condone the vandalism that was done to the Alabama campus and to Saban's lake house, and I don't condone the retalitory strike against Auburn's trees.

Rivalries and tradition are what set college football apart from all others, and makes it the greatest sport in the world.  And when some nut-job attacks the very icon of another school's tradition (as in this case), that is way beyond the pale IMO.

The guy has been caught, and now he'll have to face the consequences of his crime, and rightly so.  I have no sympathy for him.  My fear is an escalation of this foolishness between the schools.

i agree with everything you said except the highlighted. At the end of the day, if you think about it, it's just a football game, nothing more, nothing less. Granted we obviously look at them differently than most as far as our handicapping, but it's a damn shame when things are taken to this level. Look forward to watching your defense play next year, i have high expectations for them.

It is being reported that 2 University of Alabama students have been arrested for attemting to herbicide several trees in the vicinity of Jordan-Hare Studuim in an apparent copycat act. Alabama Power has just issued a statement indicating that said herbicide has been declared a non-threat to the power poles affected.
