I follow WMU religiously and won't be betting the game. I think wmu can cover this spread because their offense is the real deal. They threw it all over msu and if not for some key drops the game would have been closer. They ran the ball and sustained many drives on Ohio st, but costly penalties and missed fgs doomed them.
I can see them losing outright because they are their own worst enemy. Kicking game is garbage so I don't think the key number of 7/6.5 will even matter. Expect a missed pat by wmu. For that reason I can see this game being close. But also wmu WRs can match up with anyone in the nation. Cory Davis is a future NFL WR and braverman is essentially Wes welker type slot/shifty wr.
Wmu will move the ball but can they get 6 instead of 3 (which will probably be a missed Fg). The question is can cmu score? I know their qb is a stud but u haven't really watched them play yet. The perception is that cmu hung with ok st., Syracuse, and msu so they must be good. I thought this line would be more around 3/4.....the fact that it is 7 and the world seems to be on cmu would make me play wmu. But I don't bet my team's games.
Again, not touching this game but thought I would give you my two cents as a wmu fan.
Good luck in whatever you play

C'mon man. Western did NOT throw all over MSU. Terrell was sacked 7 times and threw 2 picks. Terrell had to throw 50 times in the game because they were behind the whole game and didn't move the ball the entire 1st half. His 365 yds were related to the score/defensive schemes late in the game and not because they actually had the personnel to move the ball. CMU's front 7 will test Western passing game, don't think for a minute that Western will cake walk to a win.
